Packers were pretty good this year. Talent-wise they lag far behind quite a few teams, but their system is solid and the players bought in. They would have been a SB team if they went all in during the offseason. Instead, they drafted for the future and made no moves at the deadline. They were outmatched by TB, and they would have been outmatched by KC as well.

Let's be honest about those Packer teams in NFC Championship games..
2014 vs Seattle - All time choke job. If one of the many things had gone right we win that game in one of the hardest places to win. I blame blame Brandon Bostick and Fat Mike, but there's plenty to go around
2016 vs Falcons - "Run the table" season. We had no business even making it to the playoffs let alone the NFC Championship game. Rodgers literally got out his Superman cape and brought the Packers deep kicking and screaming. To this day, LaDarius Gunter covering Julio Jones is one of the biggest mismatches I've ever seen on an NFL field and it wasn't his fault. That team had no business even making it that far
2019 vs 49ers - 1st season under a new system, we ran into a HORRIBLE matchup and we lose against the 49ers probably 9 times out of 10. We weren't that talented, we had holes still and were lucky to even get the record and spot we had
2020 vs Bucs - This was the year, and honestly I felt they excercised a little of the demons since 2014 if I'm being honest. Kevin King is terrible, was a waste of a pick and TJ Watt should have ALWAYS been the pick. Wasted so much draft capital year after year after year after year drafting DBs high in the draft (Randall, King, Josh Jackson, Rollins, Clinton-Dix) before FINALLY hitting on Alexander and hopefully Savage. So much draft capital spent on one side of the ball and it's continually trash
Packers are about to be in cap hell, and a lot of this team is gonna look different. Aaron Jones, Kevin King, Corey Linsey, Preston Smith, Jamaal Williams, Lane Taylor, Mercedes Lewis, Lazard, Tonyan, Wagner.... all these guys could be gone next year. Rodgers gonna have to put his cape on yet again while also seeing that the 2020 draft basically didn't do anything besides speed up the clock on him leavingLast edited by Jaydawg08; 01-25-2021 at 08:13 AM.
