Mahomes has early-career Rodgers level offensive talent with an actual defense. It'll be interesting to see what happens to that team. After the packers lost their studs-- Jennings, Driver, Nelson, Cobb, Jones, Finley-- their offensive firepower revolved around 1 stud and a bunch of late round/undrafted guys. The packers defense has almost always been bottom of the barrel. The couple years the team had a decent defense, they've gone to the NFC championship game or SB.

FWIW, Rodgers once almost took a team whose top 3 receivers were abberderis, janis, and the ghost of james jones to the NFC championship game... they were an OT away.

If the chiefs can consistently draft studs and avoid losing too many piece to free agency, they will be the next dynasty. If they do what the packers did to Rodgers career, they will be consistently mediocre.
