BLM/Antifa mob surround your car — do you run over people to defend yourself?

Wondering the same thing srs.
I mean I subscribe to the belief that it’s better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6. But what are the legal ramifications for running protesters over? If I pull up to an intersection and a crowd of 40 BLM protesters stops me in my tracks trying to smash my windows and pull me out of the car, I have to assume that’s the green light to use deadly force, right?
But what if they’re just sitting in the road, not provoking anyone. That’s where the law gets blurry. Would the below be legal?

I would think if you approach the crowd that’s already in the street — your fault.
If you’re just going about your business and they come around your car essentially trapping you.....well you’ll go to court and have a national trial but I don’t see any way to convict for murder.
The angry mob which is sometimes known to be violent surrounding your vehicle is essentially the same as pointing a gun at someone.
We’ve all seen people getting killed and assaulted. It’s a known thing that can arise within the mob.
Don’t become a statistic and dead at the hands of some lunatic antifa/BLM supporter.
Would be the WORST way to go...

I'll roll down the window just a bit and play some Soul Train to pacify the crowd. Good music soothes the soul.

Why would they be surrounding my car?
I haven't done anything to antagonise them like waving a Confederate flag or shouting something racist out the window.Last edited by Trillhouse; 09-07-2020 at 01:19 PM. Reason: Spelling

A lot of protesting/rioting going on. Have not yet seen a case of someone who was sitting in a motionless or slowly
moving car being pulled out and beaten. If you over react and injure someone with your car you will be vilified and sued, your life will be ruined.

We’ve seen enough violence to not assume an angry mob surrounding our vehicle is just an attempt to chat about the weather. Remember — the mob stopping your vehicle puts you at the mercy of each individual rioter.
You’d probably sit around while the angry hoards rape your family....well I had no idea they’d get aggressive.

I think all violence surrounding the situation of riots and protest would be enough to justify acting out of fear of the unknown. Mob surrounding car...held hostage, can’t move...yelling...just a heated situation similar to pointing a gun at someone. Doesn’t mean the person would pull the trigger of the gun they point but the threat is there.
