Inb4 - BS they are safe...no one can crack encrypted traffic

Just like everyone believed the Silk Road was safe.

The reality is the government created 99% of the forms of encryption you currently use. If you create it, you can crack and you dont have to crack it if you already own one the hardware points prior to encryption....

In addition most VPNs are point to point connections. The type of VPN connection you would use at your home for internet services IS a point to point connection. That means someone own the other end of the point to point connection. You have no clue who owns it outside of their literature and advertisements....for all you know it could be a government or corporations honey pot.

If I was the government and I wanted to track people conducting illegal activities the first thing I would do is set up a dummy VPN company. Let the flies land right in my big jar of honey...Thats exactly what happened with the silk road and people thought it couldnt be compromised because of TOR.

Your bb.com account, is a form of social media.

You can post pictures (like your AVI), you can comment on people's pictures, you can DM people, you have social signals (ie. reps and negs), you can post text, vids, and pics to other people on the network (ie. the misc), etc...

So what you wrote isn't true. :-p

Bit slack the last few days but a bit of an update:

    - Have migrated my old business emails across and removed it from Gsuite. Now I have one left on Gsuite but waiting on something to be able to delete that.
    - Unsubscribed from 16 mailing lists that sent me emails to my personal gmail that is now forwarding to my Protonmail.

My next Netflix billing is start fo January so I will hold it for the rest of the month.

This week the plan is to do the following:

    - Remove Google Chrome and use Brave exclusively
    - Stop using Google search and use DuckDuckGo exclusively (and set to home page)
    - Waiting on Amazon to close my seller central account hopefully done this week
    - Stop using Google Maps
    - Clean up personal gmail inbox and migrate old emails to Protonmail, keep unsubscribing from mailing lists and update email address on platforms like my banks etc

Wondering if I should have second Protonmail account that is simply used for signups, contacts so I dont get spammed with junk to my real account.

I don't need to prove chit. You obviously do not get the jist of why I am doing this.

The fact Protonmail has end to end encryption is already enough to switch from Gmail, let alone all the other reasons

    Im a Systems Engineer...

You seem to think I am trying to erase myself from the internet or something. Try reading the thread, main priorities are: To minimise my online footprint and remove myself from the Google ecosystem.

Nothing you are saying matters to me.
