Just wondering if anyone has one that they would recommend.
I've seen a few that work with standard plates, but I have (10) ten lb olympic plates that I'm not using, so I thought I'd put them to use.
Best one I've found...

Titan makes a nice one that has a handle you could do overhead carries with.

That is really nice. Are you going to get it ? I have been debating for couple of months between Kettle bells or some thing like this or just make a DIY Hungarian core blaster
I see that Sorinex does not get much love around here but below is their Hungarian core blaster

I just got the Titan one yesterday. I'm pretty happy with it although its pretty big. shorter smaller people might find it hard to do swings with it because it's so big. It seems to be one of the newer Titan products with decent weld, powdercoat, and even came in a box that was not destroyed by fedex.
I used it this morning for swings as part of my deadlift workout and I like it with 1 drawback. I'm going to build some plywood or stall mat spacers so that the pin can be made to fit with a minimal gap between it and the plate to prevent the plates from flopping around so much. Either that or drill offset holes on the other 2 sides of the pin between the existing holes.Best Lifts

I'm impressed...nice work.
I decided to go with the Detonator, just because of the extra wide kettlebell style handle. I also like the fact that it sits flush on the ground (similar to the way you built the bottom of yours) and uses a clamp to secure the plates. I just ordered their last one (I don't think they've sold many...I was order #127.

Good idea but i have become quiet lazy now a days to do any DIY work on equipment except for restoring York plates and bars. Not much left to restore even on those.
I did check on Detonator after 401delta post by trying to put in cart. It looks like it is available. Once i get home tonight will take some measurements and will probably pull the trigger . Need to decide short or long one. Leaning towards the short one. As long as short one can hold 6 to 7 , york 10's with the collar it should work. I do have enough/spare 25's but would prefer to use 10's.
Plus it will be easy for kids too to use the short one.[M]===[6]▪ Mech6 Crew #35 ▪[M]===[6]

Really only good for swings and maybe over head pressing KB style.
Other KB movements cleans, snatches and get ups require the KB to rest on the forearm and this devise may not be the best option.
Im not saying you can't but it may be more difficult to do the movement.
For swings i think it would work just fine.
