seen 'em on CNN tv last night whilst watching the news. can't seem to find the video posted anywhere. but it's madness tbh.
there was a guy on a boat yesterday, said he wasn't leaving.
and this morning, there was a couple that was interviewed. the wife was pretty good looking btw. but seriously. why are they not evacuating?
after that segment, the CNN anchor interviewed an expert, who was pleading to viewers in south florida, to not listen to the previous segment, and to evacuate if they are told to do so.
i don't understand why some people are like this misc. why are they doing this?

People have no sense of self preservation nowadays. People will die.
The no gas excuse is also retarded as they should have had plenty of time to get supplies. You snooze you lose.
You also probably have a lot of people planning on looting during the storm.

A lot of people are simply incapable of planning ahead so they couldn't beat the traffic or couldn't get any gas because gas stations can't keep up with demand
And others refuse to believe the hurricane will be all that serious, they just think it's overhyped

My family has lived in south Florida for a long time, and for the most part you are safe as long as you don't live really close to the beach or have a house made out of particle board. My dad is staying and he lives near Vero Beach, and I'm staying in Florida as well (farther north though). The danger is really overblown by the media, if you have a any amount of common sense and some normal supplies (water), you'll be fine.
I've been through many hurricanes in Florida, the worst part is picking up all the tree limbs and **** from your yard when it is over.

Also, Florida doesn't really flood. The soil there just soaks it up. Flooding and overflowing or broken levees are where the danger is at
Not downplaying hurricanes, but Floridians have been dealing with them for centuries and after Andrew they're prepared

^^ South Florida checking in, not in an evac zone tho. Houses here are built to handle this, anything built after Andrew is windproof.
If you live near the coast there's flooding. We don't but still went to my in-laws even further inland just to be safe.
Honestly the weather channel etc overhype it bc it's like their Superbowl. So it's super deadly and dangerous, but you'll let your star anchors run around in it broadcasting? Got it.

You're gonna lose power for a number of days, guess what? They have a generator. Stores won't be open, guess what? They have weeks worth of food and beer. While everyone is rubbing their sweaty body against each other at the shelter these guys will be having a party at their home during the hurricane.
