Try it. Excessive showering is unhealthy. Just how washing your hair too much will cause an increase in production of oil and make your hair dirtier faster, the same happens with the body. It overproduces sebum to compensate, which allows a certain set of microbes responsible for producing metabolic byproducts that stink, to overgrow, as they feed on these oils.
I am not saying to not wash your clothes and not change your underwear, nor that you shouldn't wash your hands. you can always rinse parts of your body with water too, to remove excessive dirt.

Not saying this is the case for you, but this should always be remembered: in an office setting, accusations of poor personal hygiene are almost exclusively made by a female against a male. In most cases, the accusation is made anonymously and in every case cannot be proven incorrect.
The end sum is that if you are even reasonably careful about hygiene and are attracting anonymous accusations of smelling bad, what has really happened is you have attracted the attention of someone who dislikes you.
FWIW the best possible response is to escalate it yourself. Take it as high as you can and at each juncture ask how you can prove yourself going forward, as you cannot see the problem but don't want to cause waves. This is to appear thoughtful and contrite, but the real gambit is to make the accuser substantiate his or her accusations (no, you can't just drop a random complaint to HR and expect to emerge without some questions), and to display for others that some gendered abuse will not fly without pushback.
At all times it must be remembered that sunlight is the best disinfectant for the world of anonymous complaints and weaponised feelings.
