Hello I was wondering how much calories I need to consume daily to have muscle gains. Right now I recently bumped my calories from 1500 to 2000 because I recently started going to the gym. I'm 15 years old, 5'7 and 135 lb. is this enough for gainz? If not how much, I don't want to eat too much because I feel like I will put on more fat and I already am chubby. Also how much protein should I consume. Someone told me to times my body weight by .8 so that's 105 roughly. Is this accurate?

Yes 0.8 is good. As for calories start with that and weigh yourself everyday. At the end of the week take a 7 day average and start doing that every week. Shoot for 0.5-0.7 lbs gained per week. This will keep you from putting on too much fat. If you gain more than 0.7lbs take out 200 calories if you gain less than 0.5lbs then add 200 calories. Best of luck!

All of them.
You're 15, just eat when hungry and lift.Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.
