After 4 weeks of cutting do you guys think it would be alright to treat myself to the food show I always go to with my mom. There is literally food everywhere!!!! It would be a controlled cheat but I don't want to hurt a months worth of cutting. What do yall think...

1 day isn't going to make a difference. Unless you're prepping for a show, this shouldn't even be a question. Enjoy the time with your mom and the food. Just because you're going to a food show doesn't mean you need to eat until you're sick.

Don't eat anything else the same day, eat some light meals the day before and then just enjoy yourself at the food show. It's not a regular thing so make the most of it!

I think you are looking at it from the wrong perspective. You shouldn't look at it as if you "earn" bad behavior through good behavior.
Nothing wrong with participating in a tradition. Just know your goals for that week might be impacted and accept it. Don't make any radical compensations. Just enjoy yourself and start the cut again the next day.I like personal responsibility and accountability. When you admit you are the problem you are simultaneously admitting you are the solution.
