What would be the strongest natural cortisol controlling supplements ( experience, not "studies" )
I think ashwagandha works, but I'm not sure ( I use sensoril ).
Any suggestions ?

You'll require bloodwork tests having been ran to find a working supplement for cortisol. That's not something an individual would be able to feel or really notice results of. You cannot say "lack of gains" as a result someone would notice because of the many, many variables that can affect cortisol.
I see what you didProgressive overload + progressive eating = gains. Simple as that!
