SLAP Tear Inury
Hey guys,
Have a question about a recent SLAP tear injury I received on my MRI. It appears I have a SLAP 2 Tear in my shoulder. This injury occurred a little over 3 months ago and have been dealing with it since. A lot of stiffness, pain with rotating my shoulder and really cannot do any wide grip bench, incline, or shoulder exercises with anything over 20 lbs. I have tried to do some strength and ROM exercises along with a cortisone shot, but with not much success.
Has anyone dealt with this injury? I have read that a lot of PT or surgery is the way to go. At this point, I am leaning the surgery route since I have read that this injury will not heal on its own..

Schedule for Arhtroacpic surgery on December 9th. Still the same issues so consulted with Dr. and going this route. Also have a had a muscle spasm in the arm for about 2 weeks now for whatever reason.
Will post back here post surgery and if anyone has had a similar experience, please share!
