Republicans believe that poor people = bad, and rich people = good.
This is one of their unconscious biases, expressed in many different ways by many different Republicans over many years.

So what you're saying then is Dems really, really, really, really care about and look after poor people and Republicans don't? Well shiit, that's decent of them... I bet if they promised to wrap minorities up in that same protective blanket that they'd be guaranteed all their votes!

Not even worth arguing with your retarded post because the answer is so obvious. Typical lib. 1 star thread. Would ignore again. I'll just leave this here but most likely you won't be able to understand. These are just federal income taxes. Does not include all the taxes that come with running a business and paying employees.

What exactly are poor people creating?
The poor and rich (your examples, not mine) both use legal means to either receive tax credits (free money to the poor) or deductions/write offs to lower their tax liability (every single person with income, not just the rich).
Please show us more examples of how you don't understand anything.

No, dude, it's because you literally spelled out the differentiation in your post and you still don't get it... so why should anyone bother explaining it to you?
One person has a job, creates other jobs, and found an accounting loophole - good for him. Let's figure out why that loophole exists and determine whether it needs to be closed instead of using it as a typical leftist strawman argument for defending people who don't have jobs and haven't paid in a cent toward the income tax bonus they're going to get this year. I know people that got over $10K of taxpayer money back after not working all year and putting damn little effort into finding work. That's not genius or a loophole, that is a gross perversion of benevolence. How is that anything but mooching?AP7 Crew

It exists because the Real Estate lobby is very powerful and got a favorable loss carryover provision written into the tax code? The loophole isn't going anywhere, the lobbyists will make sure of that.

Again you give the answer and still don't get it.
They aren't "transfer payments" - they are someone else's paycheck! It's bad because they have contributed nothing and gotten rewarded for it. But it's just easier for lefties to label chit when they don't comprehend it. Couldn't be that we are frustrated our money is going to something for nothing - no it's hate. How the fuk does your brain work? Why do libs never want to give any credence to a complaint?AP7 Crew

This has to be a troll thread. Nobody is this dumb. Including a pile of libs. Here's another fun chart for you little mind to look at. I'm sure you don't have a calculator so I'll add it up for you. It shows that more than 57% of entire budget is spent on social programs. 3.2 times more than our military. And you know who the majority of the people who are on the receiving end of those social programs? The poor. So please, tell my how the wealthy are the ones draining our system dry.

The rich pay taxes. You do realize that there's more than just federal tax right? Self-employment tax, employee tax, and excise tax, property tax etc. Etc. Businesses can write off a loss so they don't pay taxes on gains and losses.
The poor pay taxes too, at least sales tax---------------------------------------

Poor people need to start paying their fair share
Are people on Welfare subject to sales tax? I'm not familiar how it works.
Taxation
It is illegal for anyone to charge sales tax, surcharges or card processing fees from an EBT SNAP account, according to federal law and USDA SNAP Guidelines.

Uh, that's the economic definition of a transfer payment. That's what they're called, when government takes money from one person to pay another. This is why I hate talking to uneducated people like you.
Transfer payments also aren't what we're talking about here, we're talking about tax payments. Please stay on topic.
This thread is about tax liability, not welfare. Please stay on topic.

You're incredibly dishonest, and playing semantics in order to spin something completely logical into class warfare. It's disgusting.
You're taking a large corporations effective federal income tax rate and comparing it to the stated federal income tax rate for a janitor. Once that janitor files, after deductions and credits, what do you think their effective federal income tax rate is? The dependent credit, medical, standard or itemized deductions, earned income tax credit, mortgage insurance, etc... , will bring them down to a negative tax bracket. They will get every penny they paid back, plus a few thousand as a bonus.
