Been looking online, decided to look here too, but I go out pretty often and the morning after I Usually feel out of it. Now, Granted this isn't always from drinking. Also a bit of it is also from just exhaustion from Dancing a lot, being up late at night, sleeping little, etc...
I'm looking for a good Micronutrient replenishment to assist in recovery. Trying to eat as well balanced as possible the day before/ morning after (although sometimes eating the morning after is harder).
Any Recommendations in supplementation/ vitamins that may aid/ ease recovery? I usually take 1 multi/ 1 magnesium capsule (this has been helping with my bones post rave as ive noticed)/ and 2 fish oils. I may add on some Emergen-C or a Vitamin C supplement for extra. Anything else well recommended?

I've heard ALCAR helps w/ hangovers, but I've never had a hangover, so I can't vouch for that.

Unaware on what ALCAR is. What is it?
Its not just alcohol typically..just a ton on exhaustion, lack of sleep, rest, stimulants such as caffeine, etc...Feeling of restlessness, headaches, etc.
Yep, try to drink as much as possible, before, during, and after. Still feel a bit overdone."Learn from Yesterday, Live for Today, Hope for Tomorrow"

ALCAR is a form of L-Carnitine. It's often used as a nootropic or a brain booster and can be found in some pre-workouts or taken on it's own.
L-Carnitine is made primarily by the liver and the kidneys from amino acids (methionine and lysine) and various forms of it are often used as supplements (LCLT for recovery and GPLC for power output). Plain L-Carnitine is also available as a supplement, but I've heard it's bioavailability is low.You can't help the hopeless.

Best cure for a hangover...don't overdrink in the first place.
Other than that, plenty of sleep, water, electrolytes and thick curtains to block out the light.Review / Log Compilation Thread: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=165947981

Excellent. Wanted to give a shout out to each of you since im out of reps for the help! Good stuff and good to research!
Just to note before this gets misconstrued, I actually don't drink much/ this isn't based of of a drinking/ hungover from alcohol issue as it is just body being sore from being up so late, dancing...exhaustion etc/ not eating as well as I'd like."Learn from Yesterday, Live for Today, Hope for Tomorrow"
