You can retake a class but you can't relive a party. Not the best advice I've ever received.

Nah. My job is somewhat unique at the hospital -- I'm a supervisor, but my primary responsibility is responding to the emergency situations (heart attacks, strokes, etc.) and run them and ensure we're following policy. Secondary to that, I assist the ICU/ER staff with cases that are challenging/time consuming or have non-emergent procedures underway. I'm also expected to ensure we're following policy/procedure on all of those situations as well and write a lot of after action reports on all of these situations.
A LOT of interpersonal issues come up in nursing though. Female dominated professions bro... lot's of hurt feelings and passive aggression...August 2023:

Enjoy
Cali guys. Ever done an internet purchase before (firearm)?
Still looking for a G26. I've been to 3 LGS's and they've all told me the same thing. Not available right now. I can, however, find them on gunbroker, but how do I verify it's Cali compliant?
What I know so far:
1: G26 gen 3 is on roster (no other generation)
2. cannot be USA made (only Austria made is on roster)
3. 10 round magazine (standard)
I don't want to assume that since a G26 is on roster that all G26's are compliant.
Anything else I need to verify before purchase? Or, will they ship it to my FFL and my FFL will have to verify compliance? You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.

You still get a lot of it in a mixed crowd. The difference between me (31) and even people 4-5 years younger is astonishing when it comes to how they act and the passive aggressive-ness. Or just outright overreaction.
This. And not reacting with what im actually thinking.MFC

hey bro, yeah I'm doing well this time. the pain isn't as bad overall, the incision is just a lot more sensitive now. on about half as many pain pills, 2x as much antibiotics. it will be nice to get back to normal in a bit. my boss is being real cool about it. I'm going to head in to work on Thursday but he just called and said, "if you wake up and don't feel like it, go back to sleep."

Should I buy an ALG ACT trigger or save for 9mm/357 SIG/223? I'm having a serious impulse buy right now.

as one of about three veterans i know that has actually graduated college (well, i'm gonna graduate in a month) i had problems with showing up to class and doing the work at first. i had one really difficult semester where i failed some classes but i turned it around long-term. i partied and had fun and never really needed to study (brb writing 12 page papers on the Syrian crisis or wahhabism or national security topics).
my only regret was not knowing what degree I wanted to get when i started. if i had known, i would have gone to CU boulder because they have a much more robust international affairs/relations/studies program. brb 3-year Arabic, 3-year Hindi/Urdu, school-funded study abroads. i had to find my own funding for study abroad.
and Tyler I actually did go to the West Bank during my study abroad in Jordan. probably not a good idea now because of the stabbings and whatnot
