what is funny is that a lot of the heavy weight guys say that Wilks is more in favor of lighter weight lifters... yet the biggest guy in this competition has won the overall spot twice

Just checked my last competition. the guy that won overall was in the 165 class with a 455 bench. for a while there he was head to head with Sir Malak who was benching 600+

so yeah I could see the argument going either way.

Damn...Here i am rehabbing my shoulder to get in on this and you phuckers are throwing up some serious iron. I just did barbell bench for the first time in months due to shoulder. Was able to get 370lbs up for sets of threes but still a lil discomfort in shoulder. But, overall, very promising...we'll see how it keeps progressing.

Yeah he was one of those guys that looked like he stayed at a low bodyfat percentage year round. I think he was shorter though, like 5'6" or around that area. Not taking away from his lift by any means but he looked big as hell for 165 lol.



I am trying to decide if I am going to count a broom stick as a legit entry lol. I know if I count it there is going to be someone with a wet mop competing next

Lpenny Rule: The lift must be made using a barbell. No substitutes.

How are you supposed to take advantage of it? At 5'11" I am not exactly towering over the bench so any advice would be great

A lot of short Brahs have short arms, take a nice wide classic PL grip and your ROM for bench is pretty small. I also have a barrel chest which takes another inch or 2 off of the ROM.

Has it downsides, I can't use drive up ATM's, I can lean out of the car as far as I can and my hands will still be 3 inches from the keypad lolol.

On April 9th 4G and myself should be putting up some great numbers.
Bodyweight at 289 right now and I'm looking for 4 plates at least... Could be down another 6 lbs but then but who gives a ****?
