Is everyone racist?

Seriously, my friends will be politically correct and pretend to be okay with people when talking to them but behind their backs, the sort of stuff they say would curdle your nipples. Males and females do it. I don't do anything bad to that extent but I genuinely can't help it but be racist. I've been raised up in a majority black area so my brain automatically associates with negatives and I'd rather avoid them. This must happen to all people of other races too?

I think everyone is to some degree whether they are conscious about it or not.

Funny, some of the people I've encountered who claim not to be racist at all turn out to be the most racist of all.

I do my very best to keep skin color, age, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, education level, and race out of discussions but sometimes when people disagree with your point of view, it's just natural those things may creep into the equation......We are all human and differences may cloud our reasoning.

It is natural human social tendency to form groups of similar people and compete against other groups. The easiest way to form groups is by visual means and picking groups by people who look similar to us.

This goes away is when people form groups based on other factors or goals. For example multicultural sports teams or a group of engineers working together on a project. We live in a time of peace, so our group social tendency is directed internally based on race. If we went to war with Russia or some chit all that internal American racism would go to nearly zero.
