For no particular reason, 225 for reps deadlifts.
Have a vid, but it's believeable and boring.
20 reps.
Im sure folks here could hit the fifties.

Why would it be boring?
Do you think your 225lbs deadlift for 20 reps is not as good as, lets say someone doing 500lbs for 20 reps? If so why, because of the weight that is being moved???
For whatever its worth, be proud of what you have accomplished, post it up and brag away, your accomplishments are yours and no one else's, f'ck what anyone else is doing and do you...

225lbs feels heavier the longer you spend repping it Dru
my best at that weight was done as a revenge set recently- failed to hit + number on working set
so dropped down to 225 and hit 12 reps
I will have a go at repping 225 on a day I have not lifted heavier beforehand as I should get more than 12 reps under those circumstances I reckon, but I doubt I would get 20☻/

excellent work Dru
TnG with Versa grips - thats how I would also go about this
and like Tmax55 above, I would also like to try for a 20 rep set
would you welcome vids from others attempting 225 for reps on this thread
you can answer
1 - yes sure by all means do it or
2 - no you cheeky Limey Mofo, get your own thread
either option is acceptable to me LOL
Option 2 would be more amusing though for me and in fact everyone else☻/

So after reading this thread I figured I would try my warm up set today with 225 and just rep out 10 to see how it felt. I usually warm up with 225 x 5 and then move onto my other sets. That 225 x 10 wore me out, dead lift cardio no doubt.
Impressive lifting Drew, I plan on doing more high rep deads in the future for some extra cardio.

Well, I did it today on my back workout. Warm-ups with 135, 185 then went to 225 and busted out 22 reps. Unfortunately, my workout partner is legally blind and no video was had. I usually go up to 365 during a DL set but after that 22 reps of 225 I was gassed, then did a set of 13 and was done with DL's for the day. Went on to the rest of my workout. No doubt cardio DL's will be in my arsenal every few weeks...I liked it.

I did this a few weeks back. It was at the end of my back workout day, so I had already worked up to a 3x5 on deadlifts and I hit 15 reps at 225. I stopped there as I was starting to slow down on bar speed. Needless to say it surprised me.
