"70s Big LP" by Justin Lascek (quick review)

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up on a new LP program out there which might be of some interest to you all.

    http://70sbig.com/books/the-70s-big-lp/

The 70s Big LP was written by Justin Lascek, the owner of the 70s Big blog. He's got a ton of great info and training advice and a few books out, and he just started selling this one today. The book is full of great training advice, as well as advice that goes beyond just this LP and gives you methods and ideas for constant progression in your training through how your manipulate your sets and reps while on a LP program. At $20 it's a steal.

According to Lascek, he originally designed this LP to be an arm training program. The basic program is below.

Beginners start off just doing the main 3-4 exercises, then after a while you can start adding in the isolation movements. Obviously you can do just more than arms, you can address any problem area you have, so you can train for aesthetics while still getting stronger everywhere else.

And no, I have no affiliation with them, I'm just a big fan of his training philosophy and advice.

Been on this LP for approximately six weeks now. Lifts are improving steadily, added roughly 5 pounds of body weight, and all my measurements have improved. Since it is technically an arm specialization program, I'd like to note I've seen a 3/8" increase in upper arm size compared to my first measurement. Both measurements were done first thing in the morning, cold, no flexing, taken by my wife. Not the most scientific but definitely shows improvement. I am still doing the entry-level template, so no accessory work at the end yet.
