Hi guys. Back from 6 month back injury from rugby, been in the gym doing rehab for 3 weeks. Just wondering would there be any negatives or positives from adding a bit of dirty calories into my diet? My fitness already isnt great but from what i've read, dirty bulking increases lifts. I really need to be stronger but my standard of fitness is my main concern. Should i start eating a bit more junk food or just stay the way i am going? I dont give a **** about my physique, btw, as long as i get heavier, stronger but maintain a basic level of fitness

A bulk is not determined by the food you consume.
A bulk is determined by the amount of surplus you are in.
A Cheeseburger does not make a bulk "dirty" and a Salad does not make a bulk "clean"
The difference is the surplus.
A "clean" bulk is when the surplus is less than 500 calories.
A "dirty" bulk is when the surplus is bigger than 500 calories. My Powerlifting "Road To Manlet" Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=172129323
