Just to caution to the bodybuilding community on the potential neurotoxic effects that supplementing with DAA can bring. I do not know the science well enough to be able to explain it but i know that DAA can induce neurotoxicity resulting in poor concentration, brain fog, impaired cognitive function, depression, terrible anxiety, and even as bad as schizophrenia. I have just finished a cycle of DAA and i literally feel like i am losing my mind, i feel dumb, i cant concentrate, think, i am even having trouble writing this. My brother who was completely normal before taking DAA started having terrible panic attacks, anxiety, de realization, and the same cognitive difficulties that i am currently having. The 10% strength boost and the pound of muscle you gain from a cycle is not worth the consequences and i have my word on that.

I've been saying this on every DAA thread. it will affect people differently but I dosed it on 4 different occasions and the first 3 times I had serious, serious bouts of depression. it slowly creeps up on you. I continued with cycles because I wasn't 100% positive it was the DAA.
When I dosed it prior to bedtime I had amazing sleeps but no other affect, positive or negative.

Daa kicked in my door and negged me. Then disrespected my entire family.
I know who I am. And after all these years, there’s a victory in that.

Everyone is different, I can only speak for myself. Ive used Sodium D-aspartic acid for eleven straight months, and seemed to be fine. Toward the end on month eleven i felt some anxiety ; however I dont know if it was from daa or not, as life something is more stressful at certain times than others. Since then Ive used it for a few months , at a time, without any issues. In fact I thought it actually helped cognitive function
Now I dont use it as much, and if I would I'd take a a month break minimal, and usually longer, after a couple or few months or use.Disclaimer: The above post is my personal opinion and does not represent the official position of any company or entity. It does not constitute medical advice.

Me and DAA did not get along. About 10 days into taking it I was NOT feeling well. I stopped it immediately and began feeling better the next day. This is just my experience but it was so profound that I have never touched anything containing DAA since. I know there are some theories of it conflicting with agmatine as well (due to their effects on NMDA receptors). I'm not well-versed enough in this field to make a conclusion.

Might sound abosultely crazy admitting this, but I've ran two 8+ week cycles of DAA and consistently noticed an emotional instability. Just random spurts like watching a tv show and seeing something sad I get this feeling of overwhelmness (just made up a word)...then I think to myself man up, quit being a fruit loop. srs haha
