Knee Sleeves, are they worth it?

Just curious as to if knee sleeves have helped anyone's squat training.

Can you get any active poundage increase from them?
or does the benefit just come from them keeping the joint and stuff warmed-up?

It will add poundage. Maybe 10~20lbs. It also helps keep your knees lubricated meaning less chance of injury.

Neoprene sleeves, you won't get any carryover. They are used to keeps knees warm and prevent soreness.

There are other sleeves, such as the inzers and the LL sleeves that you can get some carryover. These are not approved for raw w/out wraps competitions like the rehbands, sbds are.

I used to squat in them until someone stole mine at the gym.. but I felt I was good for another 50lbs just b/c of how it keeps your knee and everything around it feeling tighter and more compact. My squat has gone down just a tiny bit since getting them stolen but I think the majority of it is just mental and the fact that they aren't there anymore... I've been meaning to order more.

I get about 20lbs out of my LL stingers, but they are ridiculously tight and take the will of the almighty to get them on. They are also made out of material that is not in any way similar to neoprene. They are also not approved for competition.

That's why I mainly use my Rehbands.

I'm not sure I could train hard without my Rehband knee sleeves. Easily the best money i've spent on weightlifting gear.

Knee sleeves won't give you any extra weight but they do help keeping your knees warm and preventing injury. I train with rehbands
