    Time to Increase calories?

I'm curious as to how many calories i need to be eating a day in order for me to build mass.

    My stats:

    male
    17 years old
    107 lbs.
    5'9"

    Nutrition:

For the past two/three weeks, I have carefully monitored my diet and I have been eating 2500 calories a day (I am positive that I have been eating this many. I have been using a kitchen scale and other measuring tools). My macro split is 60/20/20 carb/prot/fat. I have been eating only good bulking foods (chicken breast, eggs, nuts whole wheat breads, broccoli, greek yogurt, etc.) and have avoided all dirty foods.

    Exercise:

Lifting days: I do a full body lifting sessions 3-4 times a week (about 1 hour long). I also take my dogs for a walk which lasts about 45 minutes.
Non lifting days: These are the other days of the week that I don't lift. I run 3+ miles on the elliptical (about 30 minutes) and also take my dogs for a walk.

I am also in school and participate in gym. I also often go for more than one walk a day.

    My Question:
Over these last two/three weeks, my weight has fluctuated slightly but the last couple of days I have been back to 107 pounds. So it's now been over two weeks and I'm yet to see the scale budge. Should I increase my calories or is it too soon to do so? I am considering bumping my calories up to 3000 a day and see how that works for me. Is 3000 calories too many for someone as small as me? I am afraid to gain weight and do not want to become fat. What is a good rate to gain weight? Is 1-2 pounds a week a good weight for someone young and thin like me?

Fawking eat kids. Honestly you are short changing yourself immensely. You are deathly underweight and it's likely you may have other health issues at this point. Drastic health care measures should be taken at this point for your sake.

5' 9" 107 lbs... Eat and eat a lot. I think I weighted that in 5th grade. You are extremely under weight. Eat and lift heavy. You are in your prime to gain muscle mass.

You need to gain 40lbs. Get eating and quit the cardio. You're burning calories that could be being used to build yourself up.

Eat as much as you can, get plenty of protein, and work out like an animal when you are in the gym.

Quit worrying about fat gain when you weigh less than an average black lab.

3000 is a good place to start. If nothing happens after a month increase to 3500.

deja vu? I swear this thread is from the morning. If you gain 30 pounds you will still be skinny. So STFU about being fat or getting fat. And start enjoying food. Eat some cake, cookies, chips, chocolate and all other good sh!t.
