    Romanian deadlifts are better. My hamstrings and glutes are so sexy. Stiff legged deadlifts are more of a lower erector muscle exercise.

    Sumo deadlifts followed directly by Romanian Deadlifts put my hammies out of commission for days lol...works great cause you already had a much heavier load on them so the RD's can go to the ground easy and gripping is much less stressful. Feel like SLDL's take away some of the target from the hammies (like Rehz said) and the erector mainly begin to take over the lift, esp. in the 70%+ to failure range.

    Edit : If it was back day, Regular Deads and SLDL all the way lol

    Now @ 2014 - 210 LBS & 11% BF

    Of course .. use chalk
    your grip fails because the weight is too heavy or because your hands get tired ?? if the grip gets tired do less but heavier sets/reps

    if you're just getting sore suck it up

    I have my own rack now, so I can curl in it, squat in it, military press in it or whatever I feel like doing "in it". But taiga1 you can use it whenever you wish, I'll step back and watch
