My friend wants to become stronger but not gain too much size or anything because he doesn't want his size to affect his skills on the court. He is easily pushed around on the court. Does anyone have a training program that targets strength only? He currently is doing plyometrics for his vertical jump training. Would starting strength be a good program for him?
