I was searching all day today trying to figure this out because I was debating on whether to go or not, but now I have to work those days. :/

having been the last 2 years...its more of a b card lineup...still impressive to see in person but dont expect to see the top guys up on stage, you will see some at their supplement booths though.. think ed nunn won last year if i remember right

How was the expo?

expo was better the first year..still good last year but a few less companies and bit more stingy on free product samples...hopefully now that the strongman competition is back it will draw more company sponsorship so more goodies for us. I usually bring some cash and buy a ton of supplements, some are like 70% off what you would pay online

Yep. Nunn won last year. I realize it isn't a huge show, but I thought a couple of names were planning on doing this one. Nobody's really been talking up the Chicago show in 2 weeks either other than Fankhouser when he does his videos for FLEX.

yea man it kinda sucks how they're not hyped like the ny pro, arnold or olympia. maybe with the new qualifications we'll see some dark horse entries

The list was just published today. Go to the ifbbpro.com website. On the front page click on the "NPC Europa Show", which will then open up another window with the competitor lists for men's bodybuilding and women's bodybuilding. Right now 14 competitors for the men, 11 for the women.

Checking the records (and knowing that Troy Alves won in Hartford last year), Nunn won in 2010. Alves won in 2011.

I love the lineup. The other day i raelized it has been a while since Essa Obaid and Bannout competed. My man Juan is in it too yay

Nice! Interested to see what Smalls and Essa will bring since they haven't competed this year. Also curious how Jeff Long will look with another few weeks of dieting after he bombed his last show. And then there's Bannout...will he actually finish the show this time? Not any big name, but an interesting show!

That's an epic lineup!! It's been ages since Essa competed. I didn't think he would ever step on stage again, it's been probably close to two years since he last competed... It would've been late 2010..

He competed four times last year, lol. Arnold Classic, British Grand Prix, Mr. Europe, and FIBO. You talking about someone else?

The expo's certainly have more to be desired, but good nonetheless

It's in Hartford...Hartford is and has been a dead city for such a long time now. For someone who lives just outside Hartford currently, I can say that I rarely even go into the city for any reason
