V Rod is badass, Only liquid cooled harley they make, its terrible for long rides though...Don't go getting a sportster, you'll regret it immediately. underpowered and I hear you have to sit down to take a piss if you own one

I agree with the opinion of buying an older model and learning to work on it from top to bottom. If you own a bike and don't turn a wrench on it you're missing out on on of the best parts of owning a bike.

i was going to get a harley but wasnt ready to transition from sportbikes to a full cruiser. I was looking at vrods or a softail rocker c, which are more of a cruiser than what i have now

made a decision to get the Ducati Diavel and couldnt be happier. the bike is upright and comfortable, but dominates the twisties.

V Rod is badass, Only liquid cooled harley they make, its terrible for long rides though...Don't go getting a sportster, you'll regret it immediately. underpowered and I hear you have to sit down to take a piss if you own one

Sportsters are extremely popular bikes. I don't see the problem with them for someone my size. I'm 6'2 almost 190 now and my sporster is plenty big enough for me. Especially if you're still learning to ride. Only been riding for a year

For your first bike it's fine, but you'll outgrow it quick. I'm surpirsed you've had it for a year...BTW check out the Honda Fury. Doesn't hold its value near as well as a Harley, but its a really nice chopper and goes for $12K new

I have had sportbikes (GSXR 750, Ninjas and the likes) and it is my favorite
They are not pieces of **** you just have to take care of them.

Started with a 250 yamaha for 3 months then switched to 883 sportster. also you can upgrade sportsters to 1200. Doubt I'll ever need a different bike. if anything I'll upgrade mine to a 1200 and upgrade the suspension and stuff
