Is this an indication that I also did squats today or that I am doing something wrong in the form?
Thanks!

Neither? Both?
Deads should definitely be felt in the glutes. If you also did squats, then it seems like even more of a sure thing. Can't know for sure about form without seeing you lift, but it is probably safe to say that if you aren't feeling any pain, you're probably going to be fine.-

Hey OP I have the same issue. You must focus on biceps femoris and glutes for a time as you are likely faltering in form. A belt helps if you are not implementing one. Try box squats for a time but research correct form. Will pay dividens for you in the end.

Thanks all! I figured it was normal but the weights are getting heavier now for me in starting strength and wanted to ask before I hurt something if it was a clear indication something was wrong. Apple word correction must have changed that to the musical instrument . I workout alone in my basement but maybe I could prop this iPod up somewhere to take a video as that would be helpful!
