Hey guys, been on a serious cut for the last 2 1/2 months, and managed to drop from 280lbs+ to my current 235lbs. After being fat pretty much the last 6-7 years of my life, i decided i wanted to get my ass in shape. Been eating clean, ~1500 cals a day, working out 5 days a week lifting heavy and busting my ass. so far i have managed to not get any loose skin at all, which was my main concern, and stretch marks are pretty much inevitable, but aren't as bad as expected. Another thing is, i haven't lost any strength at all, actually have had some gains since the start (flat bench 1MR from 215 -> 265, Single Arm Dumbell Curls - 5 reps from 40 -> 60 , Pushups i can do 39 consecutive from about 20, dips i set a new PR last gym session with 23). Another HUGE thing i noticed within the last week, veins are starting to come through and bulge out in my forearm when rested, and in my delts while working out, and i can feel my top 4 abs (solid now!) how does the progress look so far? Also, before/after bf% estimates would be appreciated

I would say 35 to maybe 25-27 tough to tell.
But good job on the weight loss
But my advice would be to slow the cut down now. You are down to 235 which is much more respectable than 280. If you want to avoid loose skin slow down the cut to 2lbs a week no more. Up your cals, make sure you are eating enoughand lifting heavy. You dont want to end up the same bodyfat percentage but skinnier. This will take some time but trust me you will me way more impressed with your results. It will take time but once you get down to a lower weight you will feel tighter and look tighter, then you can go on a nice slow bulk from there and things will really start to look good.
Good work tho man and good luck!

thanks for the input guys. it sucks trying to take good pics with a cell phone, especially by yourself. i just feel awkward asking my gf to take pics for me lol.
and @drs - i actually was thinking of upping my cals from 1500 -> 1800 a day. I kind of wanted to drop down to 220 first ASAP, then start a slow cut to 190, followed by a slow clean bulk to 215. At what i'm taking in right now, i've slowed down to about 3lbs a week on avg. what would you suggest upping my cals to once i'm ready for it? would 1800 be sufficient or too little?
thanks again guys, and reps sentWhite Blood 2.0 Log - http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=141970231 COMPLETED

wow awsome progress for 2 and a half months. I was discussing about weight loss with one of my friends who's about the same BF then you were before and i told him that in 6 months of eating clean and lifting he could drop to a 15-16% body fat. I guess i wasn't wrong because at the rate you're loosing weight it's gonna be less then that :O
Anyway impressive job and keep it up!

Good work! Before's look like 35%+. After's are in the 25% range. keep it up man! BTW, no worries about lose skin, it doesn't show up til the very end but if you haven't had an issue, you should be fine.
