I am currently a commuting (45min each way) college student who is majoring in music therapy. I began my insanity program about a week before my spring semester began and I have been pulling off the entire program. Currently I am towards the end of week 1 month 2. With how hectic my schedule is, I had to cut off recover workout days during the first month for sleep. This week I had so much work to do that I had to stay up late to finish my work which interfered with my wednesday and thursday workout (so tired on thursday i slept 17 hours). On top of all this, during todays workout something happened with my wrist that I cannot do any exercises involving my hands as support unless I have a unbearable pain. I think this might set me back quite some time. Im so stressed out about school and thinking about this injury I feel like dropping the program all together and starting again when my semsester is over. I would also like to add that since college started my social life has gone to a bare minimum so that adds a problem for me too. I work work work all week and i dont reall wind down. I Just think about all the work that is coming up for next week. So here's my schedule. What do you think I should do?

Only eat 2/3 meals a day, it will save a lot of time.
As for motivation, it has to come from the inside to last. If you want it more than anything else, you will see results like nothing else.Last edited by BurninGoo; 02-11-2012 at 08:43 AM.

You think your schedule is hectic? Try doing Civil engineering instead of music. In college for 8:30am and usually spend until 9PM in the labs doing a design project each day. (on top of lectures). When I get home I'm usually doing projects or other work until midnight at the BARE minimum. All nighters 2-3 nights a week to get things done aren't uncommon. Drop to 3 bigger meals a day and harden up.

When how much do you workout then? Like right before school? I think my problem is that insanity is HIIT for an hour 6 days a week and maybe thats just too much recovery required for my body to handle atm. Either way you both gave me motivation to keep going. I realized lfe happens and I have to just keep pushing through the end so I can actually finish the program regardless of the fact that my progress has been stunned from missing about day a week. I already have seen great results and ill keep pushing! Thanks guys

I'm sure there are hundreds if not thousands on here beasting with hectic schedules. How important is it to you? After losing my long term girlfriend and my health at 325lbs I decided to become a Med Major and workout six days a week while working a 37 hour a week job. I'm 248lbs right now and loving every grueling minute of everyday. Girls say my dedication and drive for success at all costs on all fronts is sexy as hell. You gotta find your own motivation. When I started I wanted to give up after 2 months, I didn't and now I'm half way to hitting my goal weight and everything is turning up amazing.

[QUOTE=ForceFan27;830097081]Stop making excuses and...
After today's workout I am more motivated than i was from the beginning. Thanks all of you. I was seriously being a bitch a bout it. Even though 8 classes and 6 workouts seems like a lot to me people out there have it worse and still pull it off.
