would you rather be a king or emperor of any nation of your choice between that time period or someone with an average life born 100 years from now.
note whichever one you pick, you have absolutely no knowledge of today besides that you were born in another time and made this decision.

Happiness comes from power and it comes from needing less things around you.
People are in perpetual stress over seeking status in this day and age. They'll sacrifice health and whatnot.
The king is the highest status of them all, and al your basic needs are covered. Food, shelter, water, and you are the supreme ruler of the land, and your name is written down in history. IDK about u guys but these are far more meaningful to me than the advent of any techonology.
Oh, and these girls are probably virgins in a harem.

King.
Live by the Sword, Die by the Sword.
I'd rather live a day like a king, than a fcuking average ass for 80 years."Hell is the Impossibility of Reason"
"Cowards die many times before their deaths, The valiant never taste of death but once."
"All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident."

Yeah I'm sure being King mean you didn't have any stress at all. You know with nations constantly trying to go to war with you, assassins at every corner, and your own son planning to usurp you.
Sure was swell. And on top of that, basic hygiene is a job in itself. Not to mention you were one poised rat in your bedroom from contracting the black plague.Strive for

That's true, but us humans only tend to measure wealth against others. A king back in the day would have had less, but chance are he would have been more content because he knew that he had the best possible out there.
That said, I would go for the future because I have no ego about what other people have.-I rep back all
