Can't think of any close to it, other than maybe Duke Nukem Forever. BF3 was supposed to be the CoD killer, yet it seems like MW3 will win out due to it's move toward a point-streak system as opposed to kill-steaks.

All of these games are disappointments. MW3 is just going to be a souped up MW2 with marginally better graphics and so forth. BF3 is what it is. An upgrade to the BF series with new weapons and gadgets and slightly better graphics. This is still the Beta but I think no one should expect a game to be the greatest thing since toilet paper. They are just games and theres a limitation to what developers can do with them. Once we get graphics chips that are capable of running games at movie like quality then we'll see whats up.

Also remember we're not little kids anymore. Games just don't have the same awesome factor they used to. They are still fun, but I remember how amazed I was at games like Snatcher for Sega CD or Duke Nukem 3D for PC. Now I feel like I've seen it all ......

The biggest problem for me right now is moving from a controller to k/m. I'm not used to the controls and it's very annoying having to learn this exaggerated key setup.
The main problem for the game as a whole is that camping is much more prevalent. You can easily hide in the bushes and pop out to kill a passerby.
Also, I call BS on the locked graphics. If the graphics were locked, there wouldn't be such a difference in FPS when switching between options.__________________

plays good on xbox though the graphics are overrated even on pc, far cry 2 has better lighting/textures/fire/much better tress and bushes

battlefield is too slow paced. call of duty is successful because you can get success from rushing or sitting back. rush in battlefield and you die after 1 or 2 kills.

Buy a wired Xbox 360 controller for 25 dollars if you dont have one. It works, i have a MadKatz 360 controller i use to play FIFA and some other games on my PC...play Kb/mouse then when i get in a Jet or Heli i pick up the Controller...Originally Posted by Spetsnazos
