I have done them, but don't know if I would consider them the "Best". THat is very subjective and everyones opinion will differ some. I prefer the high and low cable face pulls for my upper and middle back as well as a dumbell incline shrug for my traps. T-bar rows are good and they work. THere have been a ton of posts regarding them.

AMEN! I don't think I have ever done any type of routine (full body, split, etc) without including pull ups & barbell rows.

I think the question is more like why would you row a T-bar with 1 arm instead of just rowing a bar?
