Sweet!
Hey everyone, D, aka PlurBrah here. I am an 18 year old student currently taking the semester off and working part-time. Can't wait to take on my first sponsored log review!
My goals throughout this log will be to continue to add mass and strength to my gains. I've recently took on Layne Norton's Hypertrophy/Power routine and loving it! My diet is pretty solid for the most part and I am always around 10-11% body fat. I rarely ever do cardio, but when I do, I go for about a mile at the end of my work-outs at a moderate to average pace.
Quick Stats:
5'7.5''
155 lbs
Current Supplements:
BSN Syntha-6 Protein
Centrum Multi
Looking forward to receiving my shipment soon and keeping this log up and running.

Introduction
BodySpace Name: bowskie69
Age: 27
Gender: Male
My goal with juggernaut is to gain some serious strength #1. I don't see this being a problem at all. I would love to gain some solid mass at the same time. I'll have to keep an eye on the diet for this one. I plan to eat mostly whole foods, very clean. many meals will consist of boneless, skinless chicken breast, rice and vegetables. I've not yet calculated the calories I need to obtain this goal but once I do, you hear it---first.
The pump! I want to see how far I can take the pump from Juggernaut. I will be incorporating a lot of super sets and drop sets to completely blow the muscle(s) up. You hear people talk about skin-splitting pumps all the time, have you ever seen one? No? Well let's see if I can make it happen!
A statement of your training experience: I am a bodybuilder. I have been moving weights since the transition from 9th. to 10th. grade in high school. I originally intended on lifting just to get some bigger arms and maybe gain some strength for wrestling season. That all went well and fine, until wrestling season ended. Then, stuck with nothing to do, I began my research. I would come home from school everyday, buy the latest issue of whatever muscle magazine I could find(usually M&F) and read it from bar-code to bar-code!
Literally, I was hooked! I began to experiment with new techniques, my diet, etc. Soon I was into all types of training: power-lifting, body building and endurance training. By no means do I claim to be a professional builder or even a trainer, but I can definitely get the work done!
I continue to grow and learn to this very day, and beyond I'm sure. I always put my new ideas to work, assess my results then adjust my routine (which is far from routine BTW) accordingly. All I have left to say is grab a chair and pull it on up folks, maybe strap in too 'cuz you're in for one heck of a ride!ISSA CFT

Day #1
Core: Lower Back and Abdominals
I took 1 sample packet of orange Juggernaut about 20 minutes before I left for the gym. I used a Power Mixer to blend it with 8 ounces of room temperature, filtered water.
I felt great! By the time I got to the gym and changed I felt unstoppable. My focus was on point and I had just enough energy to get it started. The more I worked, the more I felt the effects of Juggernaut coming on. I began with some intense cardio for a few minutes to raise my heart rate and get a good full body warm up.
Cardio: 10min.@LVL15 on the elliptical (I kept my heart rate around 162-164.)
I hadn't done dead lifts in a while so I was quite pleased with the numbers I pulled. I was particularly pleased that I could move that kind of weight standing 5'6" tall and only weighing 170lbs.!
Barbell Dead Lifts:45x10/135x10/225x10/275x8/315x3/275x6
Roman Chair Hyper Extensions: 8/9/10*
Lying Leg Raises, on a bench: 15/12/10*
Decline Crunches: 8/8/8*
Roman Chair Oblique Crunch: 12/12/10*
I performed all of these movements using my bodies weight only.
Taste: Like an orange soda, minus the carbonation. I'm not much for orange flavors but it does taste well. 8/10
Mixibility: As I stated earlier, I used a Power Mixer cup to get the job done. I got a good majority of the powder to dissolve but there is no way I'm going to get the creatine and glycerol to mix 100%. I've left glycerol in room temp. water over night and it still wouldn't dissolve completely. 7/10
Strength: I was particularly pleased with my deads today! I felt Juggernaut contributed A LOT to me pulling heavy weights today. It delivers! 10/10
Focus: Phenomenal, not too intense if that makes sense. I was able to converse with my training partners/clients and get the job done with the weights without missing a beat. 10/10
Pump: Today, not so much. I never really feel a good pump on core day anyway. However something a little odd happened today. I normally get back pumps like a mofo when dead lifting. Today I felt very mild tightness! No complaints here, it actually helped me to power on without hobbling around the gym. I'm sure once I get a different sort of workout this number will change, but based on today only...5/10
Overall Performance: I am pleased. Great taste, intense focus and strength gains oh my! I often suffer from anxiety issues and some pre-workout products tend to exacerbate that. I can honestly say that I have experienced zero adverse effects and it has been hours now since I took my juggernaut. Averages out to 6.4/10 but I know that will change.ISSA CFT

I know what you mean with the Glycerol. I take GlycerGrow currently and it will never dissolve. And I mean never. It's just the way this ingredient is. It doesn't taste bad or anything, it just has a "grainey" testure.
Good job on the deads. I am fairly new to this lift and each workout now is a PR for me. So I have no idea where my weight on them will end up. I just notice that my back is a bit sore the day after deadlifts.
Awesome workout.Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!

Ah GlycerGrow, I used to just pour scoops of that straight into my mouth and wash it down with 32 ounces of Gatorade! I hear ya on the taste, it's not bad at all---actually tasteless (other than a hint of saltiness). The texture was never necessarily an issue, but it did feel like I had sand in my mouth. thanks for the compliment with my deads as well, I can tell you now that that number will rise drastically.
So your new to this, this is the best time for you! What are your goals? If I were you I would just eat plenty, and by plenty I mean A LOT, of good clean foods. You will see results almost on a daily basis if you're doing it right. Feel free to PM me anytime if you would like some tips.
That's a true groupie!ISSA CFT

Day #2
Upper Body
Today I took (1) sample packet of Raspberry Lemonade Juggernaut about 20-30 minutes pre-workout.
I felt overly aggressive with a lack of motivation, does that make sense? The energy came on nice and slow and by the time I was halfway through cardio, I felt a real nice mental boost. I started out really strong with a ton of intensity. I kept my rest times to 1 to 1 1/2 minutes between sets. By the end, my body was begging me to go home!
Cardio: 10mins.@LVL15 (My heart rate averaged about 165)
Barbell Bench Press: 45x10/135x10/185x10/205x4/185x6
Barbell Row: 135x10/155x8/175x6/155x8
Standing Military Press: 135x10/155x8/135x8
Dumbbell Shrug: 85'sx8/85'sx8/85'sx8
Cambered Bar Curl: 75x10/75x8/75x8
Skull Crusher: 75x8/75x8/75x4
...and I was BEAT!
Taste: Very refreshing, the perfect summertime beverage. It had an overwhelming lemonade taste with just a hint of raspberry flavor. 9/10
Mixibility: I used a Power Mixer cup to get the job done. I got a good majority of the powder to dissolve but there is no way I'm going to get the creatine and glycerol to mix 100%. I've left glycerol in room temp. water over night and it still wouldn't dissolve completely. As I stated earlierin day#1's post, I've left glycerol in room temp. water over night and it still wouldn't dissolve completely. 7/10
Strength: I started off strong but IMO, the intensity took it out of me quick! 5/10
Focus: Phenomenal! I focused on every contraction and squeezed extra hard today. 10/10
Pump: Much better today. The body parts I worked coupled with the crazy intensity blew me up like like an Atom Bomb! I've only experienced a better pump with agmatine, that being said 9/10.
Overall Performance: Today was a good day, intensity is up and focus is on point. Strength fell a little short by day's end but I go the job done regardless....and I KNOW that I would not have had I not taking Juggernaut pre-workout. *I would also like to note that my sweating during training has increased, and I am sipping much more water throughout my workouts.* 8/10Last edited by bowskie69; 03-18-2011 at 07:57 PM.

Wow, a couple of workouts in here already!
In for progress and mad gains.
PlurBrah, that looked like a pretty small post workout meal. I hope you had a bit more to eat. I would still be hungry after eating that. He'll, I just had dinner 10 minutes ago, and I'm still hungry..
