hey all,
so anyway about 8 weeks ago i injured my extensior tendon. 2 weeks cast, have had physio for 6, trying to get movement back. can finally make a fist. ive been to the gym and worked out i can BB bench fine, machines fine, cable crossovers fine, light shoulder raises fine, however pulling is an issue. puts alot of strain compared to pressing. same with DB's. so DB shoulder press is out the question. its still sore and swollen, so gripping like before is out the question and so is pulling. Is there some sort of strap i could use which ties my wrist to the pullup bar/DB which i can use so in theory i have weight tied to my wrist (if the weight is in my palm strain is on tendon. is this makes sense id love to know ideas. if i could just tie my wrists to a pullup bar without having to grip the strap, i could do pull ups. Thanks!

Straps would help but to be honest I think the best thing you could get is a set of hooks. There essentially like a strap. There is a part that wraps around your wrist but then there is an actual metal hook that fits in you palm. I believe a company named grizzly makes some but I'm sure you could find others

i found these after having a search, these look better than others because i shouldnt have to clench onto the hook, which is when the strain will go through my hand. good job to bakerymaster!

NO HATERS:
Anyway the big mistake happened when I was cycling what I thought was Anavar at 40mg ED, sooner or later, I upped the dosage, 60, then 80, then 100, then the final week before this, 120mg. I felt on edge like a mother****er, customers at work id have to grit my teeth for asking stupid things id laugh off, i didnt think this was the gear as i thought it was anavar which is mild and shouldnt have anger issues like this. Anyway, as I was leaving my house one day, my mum said 'Oh, could you just get £100 you owe me' (which the night before i had said i would do happily), and then went nuts and punched my front door window, 1 inch thick of glass. stupid mistake. went to A&E, thought i just needed stitches and i could train chest later. turns out i had cut the tendon and needed a operation the next day. 2 weeks cast, 6 weeks full pay off work though! Lesson learnt. Punch people in the cage, not glass. glass you will never win.
