Don't want to get in to all the arguments again too much but people haven't been saying he's natural all the way through. Are you claiming he was natural and then wasn't to put his bench up during this transformation? I mean if he was or wasn't natural throughout its still a great increase in strength in just 3 or 4 weeks. Personally i do think he's natural, seems like a legit guy, even more so with the rate of his updates for the fans and just knowing his response to AAS as it is he'd be looking a lot different if he was on now.

I don't know what to think as far as his other gains went. I didn't really pay much attention to his transformation other than the occasional glance to see where his physique was at. He had a lot of room to grow and transform from his original physique before this transformation started so I knew he would make great gains at first but at some point, naturally, he was going to peak. That being said, he might not have hit his peak, but from my personal experience with myself and other natural lifters I know that to go from a one rep max on any exercise at 370 and then jump 35 lbs and do it for 3 reps in a month or less is ridiculous. He could still be making gains from muscle memory, or he could have been on some various illegal substances over his entire transformation. That's not for me to decide. All I can do is look at his lifts and his body transformation and make my own judgments.

Its possible since he focused only on flat bench doing 4 sets of 4 going up in 10lb increments...I had a smiliar program and my bench increased big time
so
-Focusing only on Bench going heavy for Low Reps
- Diet on Point
- Muscle Memory
- Remember he used to hit 4 plates for 12 like butter
You know how it is when you stop working out and you lose some size and strength...and as soon as u get on point again size and strength sky rockets (atleast for me it does)

which is exactly why I think he's natural. all i can do is compare his progress to his past progress when there was no doubt about his use.
if he stepped on stage right now after 5 months of training he would look like **** compared to his old self... way less muscle and enough fat to not see a single ab under those stage lights.
meanwhile in the past it would take him only 3 months of going all-out to go from a soft 200 to a rock hard 250.
in almost twice the time period he has made less than half the gains.
and that 370 wasn't his real max. he couldve done more if he knew his max ahead of time and just went there to warm up and do it, rather than spending all his energy doing numerous trial 1RMs before settling on 370.

As was widely debated when this first started, it doesnt really matter whether he is or isnt, it is still great to see a transformation like this step by step since it has never been done before & to have it documented like this.
Personally I think he should have avoided the natural topic all together. I dont think he knew the controversy this was going to create. Dude has crazy genetics especially for regain, even if its possible for him, its still not possible for anyone else. Most average people that have used in the past look crap today & wouldnt be able to naturally regain even a fraction of what they had when they used.
The reason why Kev's transformation is so controversial goes hand in hand with the strong debates that go on in the natural bodybuilding threads. It creates the idea that if someone has used in the past, they will have a strong advantage in regaining in the future even if they dont use, due to factors like muscle memory. I think Kev burst a bubble. I hope he knows what he's in for.Last edited by morderstwo; 11-05-2009 at 02:47 PM.
