Whats the best thing i can do for under 40. Ive hit a plateau on my weight loss and strength both. Currently not taking any supps. Im torn between going with something like animal cuts to help with some weightloss or something like superpump to help with the work outs and strength gains. I wish i could do both but im living off of money i saved over the summer and cant drop a bill on supps. Any thoughts?
A little more info if it matters, i was making great strength gains all summer but up at school the last 2 months ive pretty much ceased to make any progress.
I have finally got a good diet for once in my life. Cut out fast food, soda etc. Lots of lean meats and very low carbs. I'm now kind of stuck around the low 190 mark though after starting at 210 or so. I havent weighed less then 190 since i was 16-17 and im wanting to get down to 160-170.

Have you changed up your routine at all in the last 2 months? Do you workout your legs? How's your water intake? What do you do for cardio? How many calories do you have in a given day? Do you know your maintenance caloric intake?
I'd take a look at your workouts and lifestyle before buying NO or fat burners.

I tried a two different work out routines in the last two months or so, im now going back to the one i did over the summer that a friend does playing college ball because i dont feel like i was getting enough reps in on the other two i tried. Workout legs twice a week on that routine, 5x5squats 5x5deadlifts 3x20standing calf raises and some leg machine work. Calorie intake is around 1500-1700. its low i know, but other then the gym i really dont ever do much of anything but sit in class etc.

so diet refinement aside you think i should go with pre-workout type supp versus a weight loss type one.
doesnt bother me a bit, never hungry or anything. Not sure how much leaner i could go though on the diet lol, already nothing but tuna, skinless chicken and occassionally very lean steaks. Not really eating BK for my protien lol.
I'll be bumping up the diet though, see what happensLast edited by 72cutlass; 10-26-2008 at 10:24 PM.

Agree with raising the cals - I prep for competition with 10-12x BW in calories and would never suggest fewer than that. When's the last time you had a refeed???
As for supplements, why not both? You can get Creatine and Thermo Fire for less than $40.NPC Bodybuilder, Mother and Hater Extraordinaire
