I've been mixing my creatine with this 4c iced tea mix with natural lemon in it. Now I know I'm not supposed to be mixing it with citric acid, but I don't think it could possibly have enough to break down the creatine. I heard that gatorade had citric acid in it and was fine to use to mix creatine with, so my question is this.............is this iced tea mix fine to use or should I try something else?

If you think it has citric acid in it, don't use it, IMO. Its just better to buy some Grape juice or apple juice from the store. Tastes better too.....no hate on iced tea.

gatorade ftw... personally i use water but i have a fruit punch kind that tastes just like koo aid when i mix it with water... but i used to mix mine with gatorade

It's fine. Just drink it with water imo. Mixing it with sugar is overrated..and your stomach acid is much stronger than any citric acid- creatine is not broken down in any juice that you would drink. Drink it with whatever.

that whole citrid acid thing is a myth, its fine mixing it with iced tea, or lemon juice for that matter. your stomache has hydrochloric acid in it ffs.. why would citrid acid do anything to do the creatine.Originally Posted by guitarwar241

lol at the citric acid. Just drink the creatine however. It is preferable to drink it with some sugar, though.

Mix it with some Gatordae (the mixable powder stuff). Has Dextrose in it.
Btw Body Fortress Creatine seriously makes me gag.
