    im a sissy.

just found out its better to drink my pre and post protein in water. well choclate flavored water makes my stomach turn. anyone know a good fruit flavored protein that would taste better in water? i was looking at on 100% whey tropical punch or syntrax cherry.

GF Pro..are probably the best tasting isolates on the market.

Ultra Peptide, Pro Peptide, and Isokool taste great.

Isolates will run you more money though.

You need sugars after you work out, which milk has, so why would that be bad for post-workout shake?

Milk slows down the absorption of the whey..

You wanna have the protein in your system ASAP

alright i just never heard that beofre. not trying to dispute with you but lots of proteins have both for a time release effect and i thought the whey in the blends was still absorbed just as fast as 100% whey supps.

I think most people say that the fat in the milk is going to slow the absorbtion.

I drink mine in water because I usually can't make it home fast after my workout.

Milk after a workout will slow digestion substantially, too much fat, and for someone on a cut it's not really in their best interest.

I honestly think if you get your shake down...with milk or without..right after your workout..you should be fine. I personally like my shakes in milk...

I actually think skim milk would be a good idea.

In skim milk..i think its fine..because its nothing except some cals..more protein..skim milk doesnt have much fat.

Even though..isolates taste a hella better than any blend you will purchase.

No, you are given advice based on your goals. Milk should be consumed at another point in the day. People drink milk with their protein for added calories, taste, and when bulking.

When you're cutting, milk shouldn't be #1 with your protein.

Yeah, even when cutting I do an occasional milk+whey shake just for the taste.

Now that I'm on keto, you can be sure that every refeed day will have a milk shake

Im on Keto as well, but I never consume simple sugars. It's either a sweet potato or oatmeal. No insuline spikes.

I'm just a huge milk drinker

The rest of the day would be "clean" (ww pasta, oats, sweet potato etc...)
