Farley mate, there is nothing more exciting for Melbourne people on boxing day to EITHER go to the MCG and watch 8 hrs straight of pure class cricket for 5 days!! and usually drink the whole day too. OR others are at mates houses watching the game every ball bowled and having a BBQ. Its the big thing around this time of the year

loling @ IL/Farley convo
Why not? I am experienced enough to make my own programming at this point. Look at the obvious progress anyways. Last 5x5 I did something like 290x3x5 295x5 300x5 and the last rep on 300 was a grinder. Then a little more than a week later I did this. My squat is easily up 10 lbs, but more like 15 in a week or two. And its continuing to go up.
I think I have another 5 weeks. Care to chime in Nick?
Alaska would be an amazing trip. Place is beautiful and nature is awesome. I also like the fact that there aren't many people around, which means less *******s overall.Journal: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=139898123&page=240

No, i was speaking about people from Melbourne. You said 'dont listen to him' as in trying to claim you know what most males from melbourne dont appreciate cricket which is blatantly false. Thats my point. Cricket is loved here and even in most parts of Australia, thats not a misleading statement in any way and ill stick to that

anecdotally, exactly half of the melbourne guys i know hate cricket (which means that exactly half don't)
it rises to more than half that don't like it if you take into account all the guys i know.
half ≠ most.
cricket is certainly popular, i won't deny.
however, allegedly, justin beiber is also popular, and i don't know anyone that likes him.
having said all of that, if i am at a mate's place and it is on, i will watch. simply because everyone else is. 90% of the time spent won't be talking about the cricket, though..

Interesting, are your mates into sports though? All my mates are kinda sport mad, live, breathe cricket and football mainly so id say out of the mates i know and then the guys (acquaintances) i know at the events at sporting events/social functions i go to through out the year loves cricket, i recon i only know about 3 people out of 50+ that dislike cricket so from my POV its highly popular.
You could watch 8 hrs straight powda chimp if you wanted to
Lulz at Justin Beiber, i suppose he attracts different demographics though. I mean girls 15-18 would probably be like 1 out of 3 would like him but who knows lol.~~~~~~~~~~

Adding 10 or 15 lbs?
I'm getting used to my belt first off. Secondly I don't wanna fail any sets. That burns me out. That last 315 set was tough. If I would have done the rep scheme like you wanted (adding more weight) I would have failed. I used heavy enough weight to create a stimulus response AND I used more weight than my last squat workout which sets me up perfectly for progressive overload.
Don't see how my plan looks bad at all to you. My legs are still sore too.Journal: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=139898123&page=240

great squat session dopamine!! breaking PRs every session. you seem to be getting the form down. what numbers are you going for next time? your elbows seem all better too since you can still do sets of SOHP with heavy weight. I decided not to deadlift because I think it's smart to wait until my lower back heals all the way before I decide to squat or deadlift again. I just started a new log now and I'm just getting back into it. It's called the Juggernaut Training Method from powerlifter Chad Wesley Smith. I heard it was a very good program. The only thing is I modified it to only using incline bench, front squat, and SOHP as my main lifts instead of the 3 powerlifts and SOHP. I lost a lot of strength on everything, especially rows and pullups and maintained my 315 front squat and 225 incline. I'm about to test the SOHP on friday, I'm very weak at that though so I'm only going for 170 if I'm lucky. The end numbers I'm wishing for is at least a 250 incline, 200 SOHP or 185 for reps whatever comes first, and a 405 front squat (hope to God). we'll see.

Quick pics. Regular shoulder angle cuz I have to hold phone to take pic. Then I accidentally go partial back pic in mirror so I zoomed in. And during my workout I kicked over my chalk bucket which was a bitch to clean up.

315 beltless and easy, had 330 that day most likely. Whats your plan for the next front squat sesh to one up on me? I say get 275x3x3, then I'll have to do it with 280. Then you 285. Sound good?
I didn't make it black and white to hide my hair lol. I'll post color in a bit if you really want.

Thanks man. Hope your back gets better. Another log already? Bro make one and stick to it, I still think I am subbed to two of your logs. Also apply that to your programming please, just stick to something. No hate at all, you're a strong ass dude and I wanna see you succeed to your fullest potential. Will have to check out that program a bit more. All the best with your goals they seem reasonable fo sho.
Yeah the winter would probably get old pretty fast. Would be a good experience tho. I saw that movie and it was a bit depressing. I liked the whole idea of it however. If I went there I would wanna go during the summer and I would want a shotgun and 45 pistol w/ me the whole time.Journal: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=139898123&page=240
