Moody's economic model finds Clinton pulling away from Trump
Low gas prices and President Obamas rising popularity are bolstering Hillary Clinton's chances of winning the White House, according to a closely followed economic election model from Moody's Analytics.
The August model forecasts that Clinton will notch a win over Trump, in part thanks to historically low gas prices and Obamas popularity.
The model, which chooses a party, not a candidate, to win, awards Electoral College votes based on state-by-state outcomes.
The most important economic variable is income growth by state, including job and wage growth, hours worked and the quality of the jobs being created in the two years leading up to an election.
The latest forecast puts 16 states, which includes Washington, D.C., firmly in Democratic territory, with 11 more leaning in that direction for a total of 332 electoral votes.
Republicans hold comfortable leads in 21 states, with three more leaning red, giving its candidate 206 electoral voters.
God Bless you Obama........

1. Off topic
2. Where is your criticism for when gas was nearly $4 per gallon under Obama? Or does he soley control only low gas prices?
3. Trump tops Clinton 45% to 43% in the new survey, with Libertarian Gary Johnson standing at 7% among likely voters in this poll and the Green Party's Jill Stein at just 2%.http://www.cnn.com/2016/09/06/_polit...election-2016/

Why did you post a reply which has absolutely nothing to do with your ridiculously failed claims made in this thread?
Your article is gibberish, since gas prices aren't "historically low", as I already cited from decades of data. And they're nowhere near $1/gallon, which was your original claim - based on an absurdly ignorant belief that the US President solely controls gas prices.

Right... Because it's always someone else's fault
If you believe the ridiculous claim that the President controls gas prices, then it's equally ridiculous to blame someone else, years prior, when the current guy fails.
The lowest gas prices of the past decade were as Bush left office. Then they surged from 2011-2013, and you want to blame Bush? Obama apologists are always good for a laugh.

Like buying under credit, many repercussions come after the fact. The majority of Obama's are yet to be seen.

In fact, when you think about it, any leader's mere suggestion to cut back can have a far reaching influences when enough people follow that advice. To think otherwise would be either blind or extremely naive.🎥

OK, to play your silly little game... What did Bush say or do, two years after leaving office which caused gas prices to jump and stay high for four years under Obama...?
Meanwhile, where's the criticism of Obama for (according to Ecto's claims, and now yours) keeping gas prices high, and nowhere near the $1/gal claimed by Ecto to start this thread?

This is absolutely retardedness. The fall in gas prices was a result of fracking. We produced so much oil during that time, the entire industry was booming in to all time highs. Then OPEC and the government got involved because they believe fracking is too dangerous and slowed it/stopped it, crashing the industry. You can see it in the stock market clearly as it happened. We created a huge stock pile for many years in the short period of time companies were doing it unhindered.
So, when gas prices go back up, you can thank OPEC and the Obama admin for shutting down fracking. We can also thank him for now allowing the pipeline to go in, which would have decreased gas prices even more. So, in 99.9% of situations, the president is not responsible for the rise and fall of gas, however, Obama has made decisions that directly impact prices, and not for the better.
Some of you seem to have no idea what is happening in the oil industry at all, nor the stock market. One party system; Most Republicans are Democrats, but no Democrats are Republicans.

Yet the very title of this thread is.... "Under Obama Gas Is Falling To $1 Per Gallon!!!"
UNDER Obama. And somebody points out $4 per gallon in Ca - UNDER Obama, but that's Bush's fault?? Lol which is it? Are we praising Barry for bringing us dat dere cheap gas, or are we still raging at Bush for expensive gas? We're still feeling the repercussions of Jimmy Carter's colossal blunder. He placed a band-aid on a bullet wound. Imagine if we had begun developing a serious alternative to fossil fuel just after the original oil crisis.
Fourth years later, we're no further along with this solution than our parents were. Every president since then just kept passing the buck -- and they're still at it.🎥

So... Ecto's ridiculously failed claim, once again highlighting his endless ignorance of the US... is Carter's fault? Gotta admit, that's a new level of blame that Ecto hasn't even tried before
Meanwhile, gas is now $2.20 in the US. And Ecto is stil completely clueless about this country and how the world works.
He should be blaming Obama for such high gas prices. But he won't.

Just a reminder how laughably wrong Ecto is about everything to do with the United States
(Funny how he praised imaginary low gas prices under Obama, but remains stunningly silent over real, massive prices increases under Biden).
