I actually got a full nights sleep last night and a little nap this morning after my wife and son left(working at home the last few weeks) so I feel pretty rested right now. My son slept all the way through the night so I got too as well. I have been taking Z Force sense starting RA so I am wondering if it is helping me sleep when I get the chance. 40 has started taking it as well so I will be curious to see if it helps his sleep paterns. Sleep is so important to getting a good feel for what RA is doing for us. Not much screws your body and mood up worse than a lack of sleep.

Good Luck with the sleep guys.

sleep is paramount.. I try to arrange my clients each day so that I get around 10 hours of sleep every nite... THat's been the only way for me to recover from these sick workouts... THat and I might need a freaking babysitter soon.. After the gym, I'm about as strong as steve urkel on muscle relaxers!

LOL! I am trying to get my workout intensity to the point that I feel like that. I want to feel like I did when I started lifting. Like my muscles just will not work at all any more. I think when I up my calories after this cutting I will have the energy to get the intensity I am looking for. My workout intensity has gone up since I just started eating properly, but I think it will even more when I eat properly on a bulking calorie level.

    Today

    M1 - 1c golean, 1/2c ff milk, 2 scoops whey, 3 Red Acid, Pro32X
    M2 - 60g oatmeal, 1 scoop whey
    M3 - 1c grape juice, 1 scoop whey, CrE2, 2 Red Acid, Z Force

    Workou

    DB Press - 90x10, 100x7, 100x6
    Dips - BW+80lb x8,7,8
    Incline DB Flye - 65x8x3

    Tri Press Down - 8plates x8x3
Incline DB Skull Crusher - 35x8x3

    Bike - 20 minutes

    M4 - 1c grape juice, 1 scoop whey, CrE2

    Misc. Notes

Weight and caliper measurements are staying constant at 177 and ~13.5% BF today. I am really not feeling alot of effect from my Red Acid dose anymore, but I am not feeling too good over all. I am not sure if it is Red Acid Related or if I am possibly catching a cold or something. Since yesterday afternoon I have had a dull headache that has increased since I finished my workout. I also felt pretty whipped in my workout today. I had no energy what-so-ever after my weights. I sat and rode the bike for 20 minutes and I was just hating every minute of it. A headache definately always puts a damper on things, but I also feel very drained of energy.

I am going to take some tylenol for the headache and see if it helps. I am hoping it is just tension or a little of a head cold because it is not fun right now.

I am going to take the last 1 Red Acid later this afternoon and I am going to take the ibuprofin right now. I will update on how I feel later. If it is not any better later, I am going to go to a 2/2 dose of RA tomorrow and see how I feel with that.

About an hour and a half after taking some ibuprofen I feel alot better. Getting that headache dulled made a huge difference. Headaches always just make me want to lay around and do nothing. Again, not sure where it came from but I am going to try 2/2 on Red Acid tomorrow and see how I feel. I will go back to 3/3 the day after and see if there is a noticable connection between the headache thing.

On a side note I got a freakin wicked cramp in my tricep a couple minutes ago. The cramps seem to come about 2-4 hours after working out. This is exactly what happened on Creatine Mono a few months back.

Check your bloodpressure to see if it is getting slightly elevated. If not, try to add 1/2 gallon of water to your total consumption (since you are also cramping).

The blood pressure crossed my mind, so I will try to get that checked in the next couple days. My BP is on the edge of normal most of the time. I have been trying to drink more water, and I have been peeing very often. I will continue to try and drink more and see how it goes.

I feel good now and the ibuprofen has knocked out the headache completely.

    Thanks for the input.

Sounds good... definately consider picking up some gatorade.

If, after the 2-2 dosage, you still feel cold symptoms, it would be a great time to take a day off of Red Acid and carb up (unless you don't believe in that).

Cool. I will also get some gatorade and drink it pre/post workout in place of my grape juice for my simple carbs. I might take a day off and do a carb up. I have not really done one before, but after reducing calories more than I was and taking the Red Acid, it might be time to stuff my face for a day and get glycogen stores back up.

I have read about carb ups, but not that much. My understanding is that I just eat an absorbant amount of clean carbs like maybe add a couple cups of oatmeal throughout the day. Any pointers anyone??

Yeah, it is very hard for me to get enough food even for my cutting diet when I am on the road. When I start bulking it will be harder. Diet is so hard to maintian with a job like I have when I have to travel. The plus is that half of the time I sit at home in front of a computer so timing and food can be spot on.

Yeah, I am going to add some gatorade and try to drink more water. I am drinking enough water to pee every 1/2 or or so right now. Must be the electrolytes...

STOP drinking all that water.. everytime you pee you are peeing out more minerals and electrolytes than you are replacing!

Hmmmm......so do you suggest gatorade in place of some of the water, or just the taurine glycerol and reduce water consumption a bit?

    1 Week Update:

    Measurements:

Weight - 177(-2)(This was as of yesterday morning. I will weight later today)
    Chest - 42.5"
    Arm at peak- 16"(-.125)
    Waist - 35"(-.5)
    Abdomen(at belly button) - 35.75"(-.5)
    Thigh - 6 inches above knee - 22" (-.5)
    - 9 inches above knee - 24.5"(-.5)

    (Three measurements taken)

    Pectoral - 9,9,9
    Abdominal- 18,19,19
    Thigh - 16,16,17

    Body Fat - 13.09%(-.88%) according to http://www.rustyiron.net/formmale.htm

I have a hard time thinking that I lost this much body fat, and I think some of it must be water. I should be able to tell in the following weeks.

    Misc. Notes:

Overall, I like Red Acid so far. I have not had any real appetite supression or energy boost. I have noticed that it does not really help my workouts and makes my cardio harder to get done. I have this problem with most stims, and dont really like them as far as my workouts are concerned. I have noticed elevated body temp at times which is the only real effect I can feel except decreased energy in my workouts. I am also having no trouble falling asleep or sleeping through the night due to Red Acid. I did have the headache and lethargy yesterday, but it is gone today and I am trying a 2/2 dose for today.

I will probably do the carb up as suggested tomorrow. I noticed after measuring and taking pics that my muscle look and feel flat. Body fat is down as well as weight, but I feel like I am kindof beat and I think a carb up day would help. I am still open for suggestions on this since I have never needed or done a real carb up.

    Pictures

I took pics as promised today. I used a different camera so they look a little different. It does not seem to pic up definition in some areas as well, and some areas are different. The place I can really see a difference in in my arms and the puffiness in my stomach. I included a side pose to try to pick up the tiny bit of ab definition I am starting to see. It is tiny, and nothing to most of you, but it is more than I have ever had in the past. I hope in another three weeks it will be more noticeable. Unfortuneatly, I see that because of having to crop and change the image size to upload to bb.com the pics became kindof grainy.....oh well, better luck next time I guess. They look good on my computer if anyone wants to come over and see

I got a couple jugs of gatorade at the gym and will have it pre and post workout. I will get some powder next time I am at the store. I also got some taurine and added it post workout today. I could not find the glycerol so I have to keep looking.

    Thanks.

Well, I went to the gym today and was down to 175.5lb. That is too much weight in a week so I am definately doing a carb load tomorrow. Also the fact that my arm and leg measurments are down concerns me. There is not that much fat there to loose for things to go down that fast. Bread, Pasta, potatoes, oatmeal....all day long. From talking offline, I think that may very well be the reason I am cramping as well since low glycogen apparently equals muscle dehydration. I will stuff my face tomorrow and see how much I can gain back

5g of taurine 30 minutes before working out..and then 5g of taurine 30 minutes post workout will work some magic in your cramping department..
