Can only imagine. My best DL day was 315 x 3 x 3 and I seriously wanted to hang myself before starting the third set.
Half of me misses DL and can't wait til I can do it again. The other half is REALLY enjoying the break from it.
*edit*
I was ready a fitness magazine today. Their suggestion for deadlifting was 3-5 sets of 8-15 reps. BRB spending the next 2 hours doing 5x15 deadlifts and passing out....480s / 370b / 495d / 235 x 2 SOHP

There is one coming up in a couple weeks here that's an unsanctioned bench/dead event (no squats). I may or may not do it. I know that I'm not anywhere close to being at a competitive bench weight for my size yet, but it might still be fun to go check it out.
I think that I will eventually get to competition level, but I have no idea how long that is gonna take. If I get to 315 within my first 12 months of training, I figure that means I can probably get to 405 by the end of the second year. At that point, I might actually be semi-competitive...
One of these days soon, I need to post a picture of my squat form for people to critique. I don't have very flexible ankles, so in order to squat to depth, I actually have to lift my heels and balance on the balls of my feet. I actually hit 335 doing this, but I seriously question how safe/wise it is to not correct....480s / 370b / 495d / 235 x 2 SOHP

I don't alternate it, so I'll probably be all misshapen in a few years. Dead stop pulls were suggested to me, so I'm doing them from now on forever. I will implement deficits when I have the energy to. Friday was not a very energetic day after the squats.

Cheers for the insight. Only asked about deficits because Jtbny has made some serious progress in 18 cycles on 5/3/1 and uses deficits for every dead set and BBB set. Only the plus set he does normally. Seems he uses speed and has helped him.
As for flobots not being your bag. No problem.

Pretty sure that anything legal isn't going to actually help test by any amount. I've seen a few people post test bloodwork before and after things like P6, and there was ZERO improvement.

Hey Muzz, if I'm still living in Michigan, what would you think about me road tripping down to compete in December?

I think someone just came out with a legal test booster than boosts test by 100%? Most only do 40%. Might be interesting to check it out. I think I can owe some of my recent great PR's to clear muscle... but I can't be sure, since I changed too many training variables at the same time to know for sure. I'm still taking it though, if nothing else for the placebo.
