Hello all! I've finally had some time to start my new journal!! It's been a long time since I've posted but things are moving along nicely now with my life so I was hoping to reconnect with some old BB forum friends and the excellent motivation they provide
What's new!
- After a nice start to my first appearance on stage on May 2010 I have taken to heart what the judges have provided me with.
- noteable weak points from contest that I've been hammering away at (shoulders, abs, legs)
- I skipped the 2011 season per a discussion with my coach (Dr. Norton) and he felt it was best I stayed in bulk mode
- I moved to Denver and started a software company and got tremendously busy! (but never compromised my workout schedule)
- I bulked my way up to 217 the heaviest I've ever weighed (some weight, resulting in not such clean refeed )
- I have been dieting since January and am currently down to 181 with the help of the Dr.
- First show is VEGAS BABY Sept. 22, also upcoming are Natural CO in Oct, and finishing with Omaha bluffs classic or OCB midewest states in Illinois for Nov.
- weeks out, I feel I'm a tad behind schedule but I've never been scared to put in the extra effort!!

like I said, I feel I'm a bit behind schedule (my last show I weighed in at 159, but hoping I added around 6 - 8 lbs of mass putting me at around 167 which means losing average of 1.5 lbs per week) but I also have faith in Layne's coaching. If anything I'll definitly be ripped up by the October and November shows

OK! So let's get right into it!!
Today's meals:
Meal 1
Whey protein with natty pb
two graham crackers (usually have cereal, but had an e-mergency with work and these were the perfect macro fit)
the rest are as planned
Meal 2
chicken ceasar
rice
Meal 3
whey
rice
Meal 4
chicken
rice
mushrooms
kale
Meal 5
egg white pancake with walden farms caramel
puffed rice cereal
I've been doing TONS of different workout programs ranging all over the board. This last 2 years I have really been hitting the deadlifts to hopefully bring up my overall thickness. tonight I'm actually going to start an old favorite backup until showtime Tri-Phase! I haven't ran one of these in over a year and I love the program so much I'm giving it another go.
tonight will be arms and calves!ajaxified!

what up Bob! glad to have you here Your last contest prep was very inspiring and full of good eats! I can't say mine will have as many good eats as in the past due to timing and running my company now but maybe I'll throw in some "pizza like" meals on my high carb days.

Finally made it back to good ol' DENVER!! Best part is, I get to stay at home for an entire FOUR weeks until I have to travel again Time to do some major damage to the log book on my journey to Vegas!
