yea 8lbs a month is good, mine use to be 10lbs a month lol but i changed what was working and lost some progress for the month of march (i think?)
i figured even though i didnt get a steady loss from march i may of given my body a chance to re comp a bit. been on this diet going on 8 months, just trying to make it to a year haha.7/22/10 heaviest - 318lbs

Had a nice weekend, weighed in Saturday morning @230lb so a 2lb drop and enjoyed a nice cheat Saturday night - pizza, garlic bread, coleslaw, wedges followed by waffles and ice cream!

from my experience until i was deep into a few months my appetite didnt really go away on cheat days. whenever i took a week off my appetite would return or if i didnt workout that much during a week.
usually when i am on my cheat day and i do a depletion workout which includes abs i guess that contributes to me not being able to eat much. thats technically why i cheat the whole day just to eat one carb filled meal lmao.7/22/10 heaviest - 318lbs

thank you.
just got done cheating, it seriously sucked. my bread i was eating with the sloppy joe was really nasty, the cinnamon buns were way to sweet, the cookies, chips and the cereal were all stale.
i doubt ill order anything.

got a question. the diet article states to take fiber at least twice a day. where are we supposed to get fiber from? ive been looking at some fiber products in the store and all of them nearly have 6-9g of cabs per scoop. thats between 12-18g a day which is about 20-35% of total carb per day intake.

yeah, the carbs in fiber dont count. But be careful, some fiber sups say 7g of carbs and 5g of fiber.. that means you still have 2g of carbs in it.. just look for a fiber supp that all the carbs come from fiber.. mine has 9g of carbs 9g of fiber i take two scoops of that a day

okay guys, i've read through some of this thread but realize there's way too much information to sift through, haha. i'm going to ask a few questions and i'm sorry if its been repeated several times. okay, here we go!
cheese is completely out or can i add small amounts to my eggs?
what kind of whey do you guys suggest to maximize this diet?
girlfriend doesn't like fish, are there other things she can eat instead of fish during the fatty meal? (i realize steak and stuff is good as well, she's worried about monotony)
what are you guys using for fiber sources or are you just getting it from food?
continue doing cardio when you start this diet or take a couple weeks off and then begin?
ALWAYS low intensity or just toward the beginning? is walking the dog sufficient enough?
i know i will have more questions later but that's a decent start. thanks so much guys! really excited about starting this

I had my cheat meal on Sunday and still haven't gone back to my pre-cheat weight as of Friday. How many days does is usually take? I feel kind of depressed and have weighed myself every morning since. I fear that on Sunday's weigh that I won't have lost any weight and this week has been for nothing.

- did you have a cheat meal or cheat day? cheat days usually come back and bite you
- if you feel you stalled do cardio
- maybe add a fat burner?
- was your diet spot on this week
and in the end.. water fluctuation plays mind games with you all the time. My gym buddy that im doin this diet with never checks his weight except every two weeks, water can fluctuate every day not to mention if you vowel movement is sucking

Good post. Take note.
Normally takes about 2-3 days to get into fat burning mode again. Don't worry about weight loss fluctuating though as that is normal, could be half lb one week and 3lb the next. Be patient and it will even out over time.

what's the final verdict on mayo? i read earlier that someone said no, then later they said its okay. the girlfriend likes to add mayo to her tuna so just curious if that's okay or not.
she also wants to know what she can sub for eggs as she's afraid they will get old as well.
thanks!

11am 1 peice of ezekiel bread???? thats not the dp diet lol your trainer has not given you the correct diet...
bread is a direct source of carbohydrate and we dont have direct sorces on this diet...
unless your eating the diet listed on page 1 your not doing the dp diet....
bin the bread and ride the storm when it comes to the foods your eating, if you want to reach your goals then stick with the diet on page 1 to the letter.i rep back if i forget pm me and i will do it on recharge............
getting massive again :)

Too be honest I really dont even miss carbs ,I do know you need them in your diet but I choose to get them from greens.Im not really on a diet ,I have been doing this about 2 years and im making a life change ,I had enough of being unhealthy !I just have to get a new healthy cookbook and get some new ideas

finally got around to making almond bread.
it is actually really tasty with some food with only about 3g of carbs per slice.
all the ingredients are ok with palumbo (except maybe the baking powder) if you didnt want to use the powder you could easily make pancakes for the egg meal for some extra fat.
i made this to eat with my protien shake so i can take a break from all the EVOO lol7/22/10 heaviest - 318lbs

I weighed myself this morning and gained 1 lb and now I feel depressed. I am following the diet exactly and I have been on the diet for about 4 weeks. The only thing I changed this week was lower my water intake to about 1.5 gallons and switch Psyllium husk with sugar free metamucil. I think should just ignore the scale and start measuring myself.
Also my cheat meal is in a few hours and I don't know if I should eat it at all.
