How can you tell from a highlight you idiot? That's just plain rude and regardless everyone should look like they suck when it's on MY highlight, i'm not gonna put a clip of myself getting taken down...am I? regardless to say it doesn't happen very much anyways.


also, i'm 21-0. FL is a tough state, don't try me. Brandon hs state champ at 135 is Tyler Liberatore. #1 in the country. Double fargo champ. Suplex, alot of the guys i wrestle are tall and lanky. I've wrestled short guys like you, but i didn't get to record alot of matches. If you can't tell, most of this is from one tournament because I had 9 matches that day.

like 1aa state, 2a state, 3a state. ectera? All separate?

I know oklahoma is this way, so there are 6 champions at each weightclass in state.

I'm sorry but, this year NC is super weak compared to last year. Hell, the guy that wrestled JV under me last year is 12-2 and I tossed him around the mat like a ragdoll.

Last year NC was probably a top 10-15 state in wrestling though.

anyways. this year is gonna suck.. i'm sitting at 180ish and will be wrestling 189 this year.. last year i wrestled 171.

nc has what a lot of people believe is the hardest tournament in southeast us. king of the mat. kids come from TN, PA, WI, SC, NC, last year there was a jersey school, the tournament is actually harder than NC's state championship

I wrestled a NC state champ at 189 and beat him 3 times at Iowa's camp. Matches never went past the 1st period. This was almost 5 years ago though.

Florida is just a far larger and more populated state than NC that it could not compete.

was about to say last year's 189 state champ(4A) took 5th at nationals. The one the year before that was an all-american too but, I don't know what he placed.

Yeah Eric is wrestling as a true freshmen I think in a big ten school. Every other couple years the Cheesehead has someone who dominates all the way through, except maybe Dieringer.

any of you brahs hate wrestling deep down? i noticed that me and the better guys on the team (state qualifiers) kinda hate it deep down. i think its the pressure put on us mostly by ourselves since nobody actually cares about high school wrestling

nope. that being said i got a tournament saturday wrestling 112 this time.

Yeah. Any good guys will tell you the same thing. It' a love hate sport. Why do I do it? Because not only is it the toughest sport, but making/placing at states? That's awesome.

Definately pressure on ourselves. Only a newbie would say that they "love" wrestling.

wrestling to me is the equivilant of studying and weightlifting. i dont really enjoy it or look forward to it but i just do it to get something out of it

It's a little higher than weightlifting for me because there is an hourglass. HS Wrestling is a whole different animal from college. Idk if my knees can take 4 more years of college wrestling =/

im jv this year cause of my age and i've only got 2 matches this season so far.

4th year wrestling here.

Been wrestling 152 even though I weight 145. But since their is no 160 they bumped the 152 to 160. I beat the 145 though. I've only had 1 145 match.9-8 record here. Should be 12-6. Made to many mistakes this season in really close matches. Wrestling in Northwest Georgia. Also I'm a sophomore. I'm hoping to place at Area. My area is 6-3A which is one of the hardest areas in Georgia.

holy **** that was close. ok so long story short i had a dual meet today, i weighed at 140 and we were planning on putting me and 145 to dodge the defending state champion at 140 and i was gonna get a terrible kid so i was all relaxed but then here comes 135 they forfeit and immediately i think oh **** and i start ripping my sweats off and sure enough their 135 lber bumps to 140 and he is decent with a 15-6 record and so i stepped onto the wrestling mat at my resting heart rate and wrestle, i made too many mistakes and i was mentally and physically unprepared but i pulled off a win 14-11.

i was x10 better than the kid and if i was more prepared i could have teched or pinned him but meh w/e. in the first minute of the match the score was 7-1 me
