wow, thats nice man. i hope to be able to pull that much in years to come quelly.
after you got it up, for a moment i thought that the plates were gonna land on your left foot. The world would be a better place if everyone would channel their frustration and anger to better themselves and be nicer to everyone they meet. Everyone has their own fights and stories to tell, you are not more important than another.
- note to self, lessons from 2016.

Yeah did back routine today. Did Pullups, Reverse Grip Pulldowns, T-Bar Rows, Barbell Rows and finished with deadlifts. Did Deadlifts at the end but I was ****ed. I'm not using straps anymore, stopped using about 6 weeks ago. Used chalk today. Got 5 plates finally, x1 rep. 485lbs. Reached my goal surprisingly fast. No belts, no straps, etc. I was really ****ed anyway because I didn't breath out on the sets before that and was feeling weird in the head and the ears. Trainer told me to exhale. That made it easier, damm. Anyway, 5 plates, I'm happy. Hope to reach 6 soon.

well, the day after and I am very very sore. I only did deadlifts at the end because when I'm doing a moderate reps routine for 3 weeks (12-15), I start with my upper back and work my way downwards. When I do low reps (4-6) I start with deadlifts. Only reason I tried 1RM was because this thread has really really inspired me to deadlift more and more! I used to be afraid of doing 1RM stuff, but now it really shows you need good technique and control over your body. Powerlifting is awesome and shows true strength!

Guess I'm on the weak end of the thread with a standard deadlift pull of 377x1 with a surpinated grip and locking it out. After my deload week, I'm going to increase this drastically.

Great job on those PRs everyone. Keep up the good work. ekmi, speed off the ground was amazing for such a maximal lift.
Here's my PRs for the day:
1x1x525 <--super huge PR
1x1x535 (hitched) <--even more PR, too bad it was hitched... First time ever hitching a deadlift
Planted like a tree beside the river of truth.

got 530lbs today, clean x1 rep. attempted 550lbs, got it up...BUT really weak form. it came up to my knees and the bar started to tip, my back was ****ing up my posture. I DID NOT WANT TO DROP IT. but i got it up, but asked the personal trainer and he said i shouldnt count it as a lift, but was a good attempt! tried 1rep max twice so far on deadlift. hoping to hit 575lbs in a couple of months.

Did a chest workout and pull ups then maxed on deads at the end.
Bar x 15 wu
135 x 5
225x2
315x1
405x1
425x1 still felt good going up pretty easily
455x1 got it up but don't think I was breathing properly because when I locked it out vision was red and felt light headed. ha. So I will say my max is 425 and go from there. No vids yet but hopefully soon.
