I prefer Intel to AMD. AMD has always given me issues in the past with drivers so I just stopped using them for the most part. I did build a PC for my son using one because it was hard to beat their performance per dollar, but I have had to reset the bios on that one after it wouldn't post randomly one day.

PS5 crew. but if you get it on PC you can get the complete Sandstorm:Insurgency game with the ISMC mod unlocking extra maps and a metric chit ton of new guns, which is the pinnicle of tattical FPS . Notice the BCM daniel defense MK18
I'm not a PC gamer but im looking into some rigs just for this game and the ISMC mod. its fun on PS5, but you get like 30 extra guns and new maps/modes6 scoops of xf up2.0 a day

I have been using one of these (well, one for each) for 8+ years now.
Has literally never failed to jump a car when dead battery was the issue. Used on a bunch of other people's cars, and our own a couple times.
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000JFJLP6
I also have one of the newer lithium ion little ones (see project farm video) that is well regarded...but a neighbor's car died while parked headfirst into a cluttered AF garage...I tried the lithium ion Audew 2000A peak and it wouldn't start it. The JNC660 did.
I think it was the stronger clamps that made the difference, it turns out that part of the problem was a loose battery post connections so it may have been the beefcake clamp that made the difference but whatever the reason, the big old fashion jumper did and the new high tech liion failed

Just got my form 1 approval for the PS90. But the barrels on FN specialties are out of stock. So idk who else carries the barrels and does the installs.

Might snag this to go with my MantisX, I'll see how the OT goes this month, more training without ammo expense. Using it with my Glock has gotten me noticeably better at controlling my follow up shots.

MFC bros, I guess Hulu is offering a year subscription for .99 a month right now. Might be for brand new members, but if you’ve never had it, it seems worth it.

The weather should be good on Wednesday, so I’m scheduled to take the new rifle out and do some accuracy tests at 100 yards.
The chamber of this new Wilson is a little shorter in any AR I’ve ever hand loaded for by .003 to .004. So I have the rounds that I’m going to be testing with it set with the OAL to take that into consideration.
To this point, all I’ve done is let it eat a plethora of different factory loads at the indoor range. I’m looking forward to doing a little precision work with it.

I finally shot my 2x acog today, on 11.5 Super Duty with RC2, zero'd using Federal mk262, which is reported as being ~2 moa ammo.
Considering the heavy crosshairs on a 2x plopped down on my bag, and that the other two groups were similar, I'd say it's definitely 2 MOA in a Super Duty
Top group I tried for an actual group a bit more

Not scrolling back, any notable BF deals?
I picked up a chest rig from SS and already received and assembled it tonight. Pretty stoked with it so far. I now have a "micro" chest rig of three mags and an IFAK and this new rig which holds six mags, IFAK, and three additional pouches.
Side note, but I've also definitively decided I'll get an 11.5 and a 14.5 upper to run on the one SBR lower. All SR-15, of course.Misc Firearms Crew

I've almost bought one of the $499 P365 deals multiple times today and can't pull the trigger. On paper it makes so much more sense for EDC, but I can't get past how much I don't trust Sig. Will probably end up with a 43 instead.

Shot a deer today with the IMI razor core 77 grain, out of a 11.5" barrel. Maybe 30 or 40 yard shot? Not sure if impressed or unimpressed...I'll lay it out for you. I was actually brushed in seated on my ass, not in a stand. Deer offers a quartering toward shot. Fire one round, deer jumps and runs 20 meters and crashes dead right there. Impressive right?
Let's look at the bullet...
My wife found the round sitting in the far side of the deer. It did not exit.
Mostly intact, deformed and in fact mushroomed.
This is actually the entry. The exit was a lot less impressive as you can see, which matches my experience with these 77 grain loads - they hit hard up front and lose steam fast. Best I can tell, the round total obliterated the front right shoulder even though it didn't impact bone. We have that leg separated out for deboning...it was a mess of clots and bloodshot meat. I don't like to waste meat but this is a relatively high pressure area I'm hunting so I wanted to make sure it dropped.
All in all, did the round work? Yes. Interestingly, it caused a massive amount of damage even though it didn't fragment. It performed roughly like how I'd expect a Hornady LEO round to perform. This is one data point...I wouldn't recommend the IMI 77 grain load based on this evidence, though I'd have a hard time dissuading someone from using it over M193...it seemed to work well at CQB distances out of a relatively short barrel. This account was created for the purpose of roleplaying and satire. I thought the effectiveness from a round like that is the tumbling that occurs after impact. Not really the fragmentation or mushroom. Just a big energy dump from a fast moving bullet.
I need to get off my ass and do some load development for the 77gr TMK bullets I have before we start hitting the coyotes.

Will never go back to less than 120fps crew. Even if you're casually gaming. As long as you never try it you'll be fine. But if you go from 60fps with high input lag (PS4 and a normal TV) to 120fps and low input lag (PC or PS5/Series X with monitor or OLED (C1/Sony)) then it's a MASSIVE difference. Even just moving my PS4 from a TV to a "gaming" 60fps low input lag monitor was a big difference. Going back to 60 makes me motion sick now, which sounds dumb, but it's not a joke.

Nuggz nice carnage pics. A lot of people still think .223/5.56 is a bad round for deer hunting, but like you've shown the right bullet matters as well as shot placement.
My good friend zapped four deer this season with Barnes 85 gr .223, three with a 10.3" DD and one with a 16" LWRC. Three of the four had no exit wound.
