honestly you never want to do the same thing twice like that lol
it was a static volley to a move that can have a variable response.

I had Andrade to win and I genuinely hated Rose, but damn I respect the chit out of Rose as a striker.

Yeah but hearing that from a UFC champion is outrageous. It speaks volumes about Joanna getting beaten by Rose.
I have to agree with DC on that speech, it's just nuts. Compare her speech to Conor who says it will take a army to take his belt from him, or DC who literally shed tears after losing his title, or Khabib who accepts nothing but to be the only self-proclaimed King of the Jungle and you will realize why they are dons of the game.
Rose should just hang em up.

As I stated above, due to Rose threatening with a double wrist lock, Jessica was allowed to slam her in any way she wanted. If Rose wanted to keep her double wrist lock grip it was up to her to adjust position, otherwise she would have had to get go, thus making it an illegal spike....at least potentially.Last edited by Mr.PissShivers; 05-11-2019 at 10:31 PM.

I've had a crush on Rose since TUF. She's the right amount of mental and can pull some crazy moves. What Jessica did was legal since it was in a clinch and not 12-6. Rose may have thought she could pull something whack off but should've bailed and released. She'll be back. She learns from her mistakes. Just glad she's ok.

Yes, this is also correct. Very similar to when Quinton Jackson spiked Ricardo Arona I believe it was. Arona had on armbar, and got dumped on his head/ko'd.
I've always wondered why someone wouldn't defend a double-leg by piledriving/spiking. If there's an arc, it's legal. Hard to do though obviously.
I once did it to a friend in a drunken wrestling match. My heart stopped beating for a few seconds, as I thought I broke his neck.
NOTICE; Don't wrestle when you're drunk! I met someone who was a quadriplegic for exactly this reason!

It should be noted when a fighter is placed into a submission hold by their opponent, if that fighter is capable of elevating their opponent they may bring that opponent down in any fashion they desire because they are not in control of their opponent's body.

Just watched the post fight interview.
He’s a good athlete who has some potential in mma but he has always been a bit of a meathead not the most intelligent like the typical stereotype of a dumb jock.
In wwe he couldn’t remember his lines in interviews but he could wrestle.
Reminds me a bit of how Brock acted at ufc 100.
I’m going to say he genuinely thought TJ was hitting him from below as opposed to tapping.. the post fight stuff well he was a heel mostly in wwe it’s how you react to boos.BLM (Brock Lesnar Matters)

She's neurotic and she it's clear that she has emotional baggage stemming from childhood trauma. But that doesn't mean she's mentally off. It just means that maybe she doesn't have that single-minded competitive drive that can sustain a championship reign over a period of years like a Fedor or Anderson Silva. One in a billion or so people do.
Plus she's a young woman. She may want to settle down with her husband and have kids and a life.
She's attained the highest level of her chosen sport. She was the world champion. Maybe it's too overwhelming to keep doing it at this point.
There's a thousand reasons to walk away right now. Maybe she ultimately won't, but it makes all the sense in the world why she'd be thinking about walking away now to be a jiu jitsu coach or something and just live a quiet life.
