Speaking of stupid losses, Taf, I think I'm finally about ready to accept that AOBC is not coming back and just realize the loss so I can put the capital to use somewhere else, rather than sitting on the sidelines in an explosive market that only goes up.

I'm just going to sit tight on it. It HAS to come up at some point . . . and I would guess the dems will make a run somewhere down the line. Maybe even at midterms. I only have a relatively small amount in it vs the rest of that account and I'm up a good deal even with that pig dragging it down a notch. Gonna let it ride. It can't suck this bad forever . . .

So what you're saying is, it's better to hold it for the next 3-7 years in case a Dem gets in office and it goes up, rather than allocating the capital that's currently tied up in it into something else while we're in a booming market and just getting back into it in 7 years when Dems take over and it has a chance again?
Ehhhh....
I'm down 38% in it. It has to do a lot of coming back up just to break even at this point.
After losses, it's probably just under a 1/3 of that account. Which is tiny and just for play mostly. But going to start putting more into it and start being a little smarter with how I handle it.

Guy in the office next to mine is freaking out. He just had his entire identity stolen, by a pro. Guy knew everything about him, all addresses, SSN, etc. Got a real drivers license from the DMV, and in the past week opened and filled $55,000 worth of credit cards and bought a brand new Porsche 911 in this guy's name. He is very well off and debt free, and taking this hard. I'm not sure what I would even do. Much less what I would do when the fuker is finally found. He got a surveillance pic from a store and the guy even has a similar description, white 6 foot 180ish. He walked into Wells Fargo two days ago and got an immediate loan for $3,000, walked out with the cash. When my coworker called Wells Fargo to report the fraud just now they wouldn't even talk to him without an account number...uhhhh
I asked him if the cops are involved and he said cops, FBI and Secret Service...don't know how true that would be

I did it. I'm no longer a lifetime investor in AOBC. Only a 38% loss in that turd. No more greasy Smithy Wessons for me.

You did the right thing. Take the hit and move on. It's up 3% today so probably a good time to cut it loose. I ate some sh!t on Bitcoin in the past week but got sick of watching it thinking 'it will come back, it always comes back'. Glad I did because now it's in the high 10s. You can always buy it back if it establishes an uptrend (doubt it).

Pretty much. I bought in a super tiny amount of BTC at around 11,190, so it's been basically sideways for me. We'll see what happens with it.
What's really exciting is that cryptos are coming to Robinhood. Commission free trading will be nice, and some new money might give it a little short term life.Misc Firearms Crew

Flight home would have been considerably more enjoyable if the two *******s behind us didn’t have to talk as loud as possible in their gay fuking lispy homo voices that all gay people developed once they realize they’re gay for some god damn fuking reason.

I have a sauna for sale on FB and a guy sent me a message asking if I would trade for a firearm.
"It's an ska that I.put a t6 tapco stock and I still have the original stock with a truglo red dot sight a an armed forces green laser sight 2 20rd mags plus the original box mag and all the ammo I have for it I think it's around 200 or so could be more and a forward grip that is also a bipod"
What would this be worth? Would I have a problem reselling it?…we have not spent the last 65 million or so years finely honing our physiology to watch Oprah. Like it or not, we are the product of a very long process of adaptation to a harsh physical existence, and the past couple centuries of comparative ease and plenty are not enough time to change our genome. We humans are at our best when our existence mirrors, or at least simulates, the one we are still genetically adapted to live. And that is the purpose of exercise. - Mark Rippetoe

Dual, it's funny that you mentioned the identify theft. My wife told me this morning that her brother just found out his identity was stolen. The tip-off was that he noticed he wasn't getting any mail addressed to him the last week or so. His wife was getting mail, but not him. He checked with the post office and they told him a change of address had been submitted . . . changing his address from Colorado to Georgia. So he immediately called the credit bureaus and found out that credit cards had been opened in his name--with GA billing addresses.
So now he has to get that all cleaned up. The phukking balls on some people. They should make identity theft punishable by death . . . or like mandatory 40 years in prison.*MFC Elder Statesmen Cabinet Crew*
