I had some pineapple juice sitting around, and picked up some fruit cocktail with it. So I mixed a little bit of the juice in with those. I didn't mind the taste, but the texture is just, more than I can push through. >.<
I'm not giving up, I just think I'll have to try it on toast, or in pasta. I don't think fruit balances out the chunkiness enough for me.
Side note: This morning my elbow was a bit twingy when I straightened it out, it's progressed to just being a c*nt. I just tried to straighten it to explain how it's feeling, and I can't fully extend my left arm, so that's great. -_-Last edited by LunaLifts; 08-15-2017 at 01:36 PM.

This is a very well timed rest day. I'm so fecking tired, still sleeping like dirt. I fall asleep fine, but I am just up throughout the night, and at least one of those times I don't get back to sleep for a significant amount of time. Debated doing any cardio, but I'm feeling more up to it, and I think some activity would help. It usually does. We'll see.
Elbow is doing better, did some looking up, and it sounds like an inflamed tendon. Iced it last night. I can carefully straighten my arm out today, and it generally feels less twingy/hurty. It'd be tricep tendon, been doing strict form with bicep curls, but French press... Well, I've been focusing on trying to prevent this type of crap by keeping them more "straight" but I think that may have been the problem, and I should have kept doing what felt natural.
Looking at videos, it seems the elbows going out a bit is actually the correct form, so yeah, I feel dumb. >.<
Lesson learned.
So I'm off to make breakfast, watch ananda's new vlog, and maybe hop on the treadmill.
*ETA: Did all of the things. 30 minutes on the treadmill no jog intervals this time, just wanted to go for steady and more time.Last edited by LunaLifts; 08-16-2017 at 08:46 AM.

I have no illusions about that happening, but if a miracle happens, you will still be my favorite
But seriously, I know last night's vid was annoying because of the light issues while I'm driving, but I wanted to get the point across so I kept it in. If you have any constructive critique, please let me know! I can take it. It's kind of fun because now my internet friends will have an idea of what it's like to hang out with me IRLTeam Ogre Mascot

Yay, I'm faves!
If anything comes up I'll let you know, but so far I love your videos. Some chatting, some working out, great personality, solid mix! I don't mind stuff like lighting not being perfect, or camera angles, or whatever. I know some people get serious with only filming from above, some have a bunch of special lights and that's all good for them, but I like raw footage (because that's the coolest sounding way to phrase it) as well.

That's exactly what would happen. Catching up on your latest video, those pancakes still looked fine to me.
So, that aside, I kinda took a random deload. I don't love that it started middle of the week, and ended that way too. Given that my elbow could straighten, but was still twingy about it I didn't want to push it. Plus I ended up having chit to do a few of those days, and if I don't get it done early I have a huge issue with getting it done late (i.e. I don't).
Eating breakfast before working out today, I cant keep pushing it off if I'm going to increase calories overall. Just have to learn to manage my time a bit better (see says ambling on her BB journal). Also I can't take pwo on an empty stomach so I keep carrying around the pres I haven't finished, and I've gotta start in on them. lol. For the record, I don't just carry a bunch of containers, I use that drawstring bag from Allmax to carry my supps, LAX ball, and workout leggings, it would just be more convenient with less containers.
Today is full body, since I didn't have a workout yesterday, doing deadlifts, and my calories have been higher, so here's hoping they don't suck so hard.
Oh, and we took my brothers to see Annabelle 2. In short, and with no spoilers: great tie in to the first one that came out, and I honestly thought they did a better job of it altogether.PRs: 95lbs/126lbs/212lbs

Brief workout, but good stuff. I haven't pulled 137 in quite awhile, so I'm glad that in the time I've been nudging up my cals, I'm already seeing that creep back up too. Oh, and yeah, I'm pulling conventional from now on, unless I'm at a gym/until I have a 7ft bar. Been thinking for awhile I wasn't setting up as good as I could with a longer bar for sumo, and had nearly pulled stuff in my hip/hammy area before. Not to mention you pull something, and can't drop the bar fast because your toes are close to the plates as is. O.O So conventional it is for now.
Rows went better starting with the 87's, the last set was great though, felt more solid, and felt the pulling in my upper back. Brought the bar up to my chest for each rep, didn't kip like I sometimes tend to when it gets heavy (I mean, I sway a bit, but sometimes it would be a little much). I think the only difference was remembering I have to brace better for these too.
I found a neat food thing! They're these "Ole Wellness" tortilla things that are 50cals, and have 11g of fiber. They had whole wheat, and spinach and herb (the ones we got), and I was so excited to give them a go that I didn't realize they're kind of expensive. Like $25 for 8 expensive. So yeah, as much as I love the nutritional value, that's too much for tortillas.
Though I thought I'd mention them because they are low calorie, and a great source of fiber, so if someone is interested, and doesn't mind the price they can check those out.PRs: 95lbs/126lbs/212lbs

Laced with flax seed, so I guess that's gold. Just wish I noticed the price beforehand, I didn't assume something like wraps would be that high.
Speaking of food, I'm going to be up to 1200-1300 before dinner (1700-1800 total) this week, and these will be my numbers today:
Cals: 1204
Protein: 121.4
Fiber: 15.3
Fat: 42.1
Carbs: 83.8
That's already above my protein minimum, a good amount of fiber (relative to usual), 2/3 of my fat needs, and under 100g of carbs. >.<
I mean, I have ~300cals to add over the next couple weeks, and some will be carbs I don't plan on trying to stay low carb, I just haven't been able to get to the store for good bread, oats, and bagel thins. If I can keep the protein, and fat at least that good than I'll be a happy duck!
And yeah, it seems like "how would you get a third of your fat for dinner?!" It happens though, it's usually convenience food frozen pizza, lasagna, chit like that, so my carbs, and fat get a boost. The "real" food dinners usually have a good amount from olive oil, or butter, so carbs may be lower, but fat is still solid.
I also got Light and Fit yogurt if I have a lower dinner here or there, not because it's fat free, but I have trouble sticking to the higher protein yogurts. I get tired of Greek yogurt, it's so thick, this stuff is creamy, and comes in more flavors than berry, not to mention they're cheaper 5/$5. Had a pumpkin pie one yesterday, and I should have just got five of those. I'm rambling, but I wanted to recommend those. 80cals, and 12g protein.PRs: 95lbs/126lbs/212lbs

Almost to the double digits already!
I agree - I think the group of people who have been doing all the Conjuring related movies have done really well. Some of the best horror I have seen in a while.
When the chick had to run through that room in the first one though, when the elevator keeps bringing her back to the same room, oh hell no to all of that. lol

I believe you could do it, I'd be the one burning the house down.
I'm halfway there, I say the f word a ton.
That aside, my obliques are so wrecked! I woke up last night, and tried to read adjust, and felt how sore they were already. Me gusta weighted side bends. I want start doing planks weekly, and keeping the side bends in, just trying to find stuff that feels more like I'm challenging those muscles vs feeling like I'm doing cardio with a ton of sit ups/crunches (plus I here it's not good to do a lot of these anyway).Last edited by LunaLifts; 08-23-2017 at 06:17 AM.

I can be a hell of a cook when I try.
Yay, and nay. Nothing like any core soreness to remind you how much you use it just for existing.
Did 40min on the treadmill this morning, and no more of that. 20min is fine, 30 is ok, but somewhere creeping up to the 40min mark I smell burnt rubber, which is the friction from the belt itself, or the heat from the friction wearing down my not-fit-for-cardio sneakers (more so than they are). Either way, it's unpleasant, so small bursts only. No jogging still, dunno if I mentioned that I was waiting until I got better shoes, but that's why. Even walking that much today started to hurt my foot.
Ended up mowing the lawn for a half hour as well, so I'm feeling mildly productive as far as moving around on rest day. Tomorrow is squat day, and next week I'll be inching up the calories again, so I'm thinking I'll have another go at my 5 day plan. I definitely feel like I have more energy, so we'll see how it plays out.PRs: 95lbs/126lbs/212lbs

I should start recording my cardio then, if it happens, it'd be mine, lol.
I'm thinking I need to invest in some heavier dumbbells. I think part of why I'm feeling less hyped about my leg days is doing lunges with a bar isn't my favorite, doing B. split squats with a bar just fluffin' sucks. Especially the latter, just setting up for it feels like an injury waiting to happen, versus being able to set up, and just lunge down for DBs, or grab them off my safeties.
The rest is a rant, feel free to skip:
Unfortunately many things are crapping out at once, one of my jeans is wearing at the crotch, just a bit, but they're dying. My skin tone bra (can't do without, I like my light shirts) is dead already, like no elastic left. My powder foundation is almost done for. I really wanted to get that $10 waffle iron, but that's just bumped right off my radar for the moment. I wanted resistance bands for face pulls at home, glute activations, warm ups, all the stuff they're good for. And I can't work on collecting any of this stuff until after my road test, because if I don't pass that's $65 to renew my fluffin' permit.
On that subject, it's 12 days until my road test now, I only started to get nervous at the two week mark, like it finally sunk it, lol. The thing is, I still feel pretty confident, I keep reminding myself of how sure I was when I started with my five hour course, and when I set the appts, and if anything I've gotten more confident behind the wheel since then. Jay though, he's going to freak me out. He means well, of course, but he's kinda like "it's only just over a week away, you have to drive all the time, and get as comfortable as possible." I mean, I can only be so comfortable, I'm going to be in a car, with a stranger, who is there specifically to judge me. I've processed that, but it's still awkward. I'm confident that I can manage driving in town, the things I do need to polish won't be part of the test. I'm more used to reversing with mirrors than the back up camera now. I felt I could do this in July, and I've gotten even more comfortable, and confident since. I know I need to stay comfortable, keep with it until then, that it's less than two weeks away, but for fluff's sake can we not talk about it? I know, and you know, so I'd rather do than think. It's how I've been managing my anxiety in general, if it does me no good to think about it at the time, I don't. I know he's trying to help, and that he believes I can pass, I just don't want to think about it so much, that's what'll make me anxious. All I let myself think is how I'll be super polite, and calm, and just get through it, then I think about something else.
Ok, done ranting. Sorry, but that felt pretty good to b*tch about. lol. Gotta go get to my workout.PRs: 95lbs/126lbs/212lbs

40 minutes sounds like plenty of cardio to me. The burning smell would be off putting too and having the right shoes is quite helpful.
It's always something isn't it? I get close to buying knee sleeves but then something else comes up that needs the funds. Tech not charging, or almost run out of gas and have to use different card, or need to buy food. Always something getting in the way.

Oh, so, fluff. Where do I start? Last month I went to a dr about making sure I wasn't low on iron, and I was having kidney pain for a few days so I mentioned that too. Ever since I had a really bad kidney infection, my left side hurts the same way (just not as bad as that time), so I drink a bunch of cranberry juice, and water, and usually it resolves itself. Anywho, the guy did a urine test, found bacteria, and they figured "well you have an appt in a couple weeks with your dr, so you can deal with it then."
My appt was Monday my dr called in sick, by then it was getting a bit worse so I was like "nope, I'm seeing someone today." They did another test, and prescribed me antibiotics. (Meanwhile the doctor decided to tell me everything else it could end up being, like that's at all helpful.) The check out desk lady actually apologized for how long it took for me to get treatment considering the first test, it's ok lady, not your fault.
I haven't gotten to the pharmacy yet, can't drive, and feel bad burdening people. Jay's been assuming I'd go during the day, and was all "why tf didn't you tell me when I picked you up?" So yeah, no one else to blame but me, and my "I'll get it when it's convenient to someone else, because no license" attitude.
All of this brings me to today, thanks for hanging in there. Today sucks. My right side hurts too now, so the infection is getting worse, and Jay already said if I don't go with my dad, we're going today, 100% so yes, it'll be taken care of. But ffs this workout took a half hour longer than it should have. The power was out so I didn't have much else to do anyway, but my back/sides are very hurty now. Even though the exercise doesn't make it worse, just being in pain is a big distraction. Ended up with long rest times, could have pushed harder on some of these because I rested so much between sets, but I had a real "fluff it" attitude.
I did it though, hoping I start feeling better by tomorrow for upper day.PRs: 95lbs/126lbs/212lbs

First of all, fuk. I can't even imagine working out in that kind of pain I hope it goes away soon.
Second, have you asked Jay to stop bringing up the driver's test? I would be like "I'm doing everything I can and I don't want to talk about it anymore" That would usually work with my husband.
Third, sorry you're running out of stuff I was going to say that I've repaired jeans with patches and made my own face powder, but that still requires "stuff/ingredients" so I'll shut up now <3Team Ogre Mascot

It only flared up bad sometimes, but it's still been sore all day. Glad I stuck it out, because if anything working out still feels good for my brain.

Just going to get cheap pair for the meantime. Walmart has a pair of dark wash, high waisted ones for like $17, and I have been thinking of getting a high waisted jean. Plus it's stretchy, and slimming so it'd be a good bulk jean. >.< Even if they bust in a year, at least I'd by myself some time to invest in a better pair once I take care of things.

Lol, I had one patched pair of jeans forever ago, and my cousin did it for me. I can sow, but my sewing job would be more awkward than the crotch-patch. >.<

Mine aren't thick so much, I just carry all my thigh fat at the top of my inner thighs. It's fascinating how a mid-thigh dress will make my legs look like toothpicks. Lol. Mine always go in that area, or I'll some how tear the ass of them. I don't even have a big butt yet! >.<
I got my meds, no more suffering! Well, some, it'll probably take a dose or two to feel tops again. Inconvenienced my dad, because he wanted to pick up a Fish Oil supp sometime soon anyway, and if me and Jay go he'll want to get pizza while we're out there. I prefer to save the can't-track foods for the weekend, though at least I have more calories in my diet now so it's not a big a cheat meal either way.
